I have a black 1997 4Runner, that I was wanting to either powder coat, or spray the bumpers with the bed liner type coating. Thanks for getting to yours before I did mine, I like the way yours turned out. Nice job all the way around.

This is awesome! Just bought a '96 4runner and can't wait to start diving into it now that I've watched this transformation! I used to own an almost identical 4runner over a decade ago and hated when I sold it. But now I have a same truck to be able to build it how I wanted on the previous one! I've already bookmarked your bumper template and can't wait to make that as it's a perfect design for what I wanted!

The 4Runner look great. A suggestion for a project. Fab a receiver hitch that doesn’t hang below the bumper. The hitch on the 4Runner is similar to my F350. They are an eye sore hanging below the bumper. Great videos.

With the wrap on the bumper corners, you have to heat up the sheet and pull/stretch it into place to avoid the wrinkles, since the distance around the curve is longer than the top/bottom edges. Downside is with the matte black it looks a little more glossy when it's stretched.

Glad to see you feeling better. My Dirt bike was stolen from my shed, it was locked up, the shed door was locked and the gate was locked. My neighbors across the street from me do and sell METH. They are always working on something at all hours. They say that they saw nothing. I want to smash in someone's head, but I have no proof. The last time I was APOPLECTIC like this I was fighting 5 people. Luckily for me, they were drug addicts. When the cops got there, I was tazed. I was out numbered and still I got tazed. Anyway, I'm glad you are feeling better and are back in the shop. Sorry for the long winded comment! ✌

I would assume the right primer for that scuffed chrome would be self-etch before bedlining it? I don't know much about different paint types but I am raptor lining the chrome on my truck with everything else. Was told the way to go was to just get self-etch for any metal spots. Also what moisture/oil filter setup would you recommend for a 30gal air compressor?

Bare metal likes etching primer or epoxy. Chrome i use epoxy

I had an idea you were just going to end up matching the rear to the front bumper. Looks better that way. Also, the busted up shoulder comes through in a few shots when it’s obvious you have consciously avoided using that arm. I know the feels man.
