I can't believe that 4 years ago I found this channel and listened to the first episode of The Pen with Eve and BB when it came out. I had no idea how big and amazing this series and channel would become. How much of an impact it would have in my life when I was in a bad place. It's bittersweet but I loved every moment. You know, I found PEN like, maybe two months ago off the recommendation of a reply to some comment on Tumblr. That's to say, PURELY by chance. And sincerely, in the back of my mind, there is a constant thank you to whoever it was that left that comment. I haven't been so deeply invested in a set of characters in an audio rp in a hot minute, so I'm truly so deeply nourished to have gotten to experience PEN, I really mean that. And I'm sure that I'd have eventually stumbled across it in my own time, but having found and enjoyed it when I did makes it feel all the more special. PEN is so deeply special. It's bittersweet saying goodbye to the pen, but I'm glad they all got a happy ending. I first found the channel through sypher, and I've come to love every single character we've gotten throughout this series. As someone who's loved fantasy my whole life (especially modern fantasy), the pen was a dream come true. Well written characters, detailed world building, and a truly amazing story. I don't know if we're ever going to get another multi-listener story. If not, I totally understand. I can't even imagine how much work went into making the pen-verse what it is. But no matter what comes next, pen-verse or otherwise, I'm here for it.

I still hold my Vahrick head fiction and it still holds strong. A warden eternal character from the halo series who saved the dragon shifters from Drivden but only saved a certain number and left the rest to die. He allows them to access what he calls "The Mantel of The Dragon" to bring the species back into the modern world.

Scales went from a broken man with broken dreams killing to appease an apathetic master to someone so full of life and love who shares that passion with everyone and anyone so much so that the "monster" once so singularly dependent on Harriet is now helping the girls let her memory go by simply quoting the lessons he learned from THEM back at them is such a beautiful thing I can only imagine how much raw emotion he went through when Cypher's father wanted him on stage with him There was likely so much back breaking hugging involved and knowing that big softy Scales? Probably a lot of crying too XD We know little of his past due to the nature of his backstory but we do know when he suffered that accident he clearly didn't handle it well I imagine he probably pushed away those that cared back then given how quickly he took to the "I'm a monster" routine that self loathing came rather naturally to him He earned that limelight this time not out of the need for of a purpose- (like how uncomfortable he was not being the strongest... well prior to fully shifting anyway XD) -but simply because he cherished those around him and much like his career He stopped dancing because he was good at it and started dancing because he loved it ❤ What a beautiful ending for such a beautiful character arc Scales is my personal ride or die but they were all so magnificently done I am happy that they are happy Here's to what comes next 🎉

(Welp, here goes nothing I guess. Let's cheese this up a bit) My first ever discovery of this goldmine of a channel was the Crazy Yandere doctor creating a future beacon of hope. I never thought I'd get so invested in ''The PEN" Universe, but here we are, around 3 years later at the end. This was, without a doubt, the best motivational rollercoaster of emotions and roleplaying that I stumbled upon, and vacuumed up like a fresh bowl of Ramen. With this, all that's left for me to say is: "Thank you Eris, for giving me the courage and motivation to start believing in myself after I drowned in disbelief. You helped me regain my imaginary overdrive and boosted it so much that I got a job, a group of little demons that I am proud to call my dnd group + DM and a new perspective of living. It’s done. It’s…done. Man, it really does hurt that it’s the end for our three main couples, huh? I remember when I first stumbled upon your channel, Eris. Looking for a good ASMR roleplay and happened to find your first numbered episode for the werewolf story. I was confused to why it was the only numbered one then realized that it was just after the initial 4 parts that had similar themes to a certain vampire, hellhound and demon. At first, I was really only here for BB’s slow romance with Eve, then the events started to mix together, converging on different parts, next thing I knew I was enjoying Fang’s protective interactions with Sacha, Bloodhound’s little meet-ups with Mel, and the corporate life between the Demon Lord and Eris. Let’s not forget the later additions (but became part of the main cast) Harriet, Scales and Scypher, where the latter two’s slow burn was actually something that made myself, and most likely many other, wanna just shout at the characters through our screens that they liked each other. As the story continued, I never expected it to be as complex as it became but I wouldn’t have it any other way. All the happy and fluffy moments, sad and gloomy events, even the tense times, all made the story ever more enjoyable and worth it for the ending of this amazing series. I would say more but that would just turn into a rant at this point. Thank you, truly, Eris for giving us this world you built everyone in. I very much loved every single bit of it. Can’t wait to see what you have in store for the PEN. For this story though, thank you for the happy ending everyone deserves, even if not all was how it everyone wanted it to be. P.S. If I would have a penny for every great story that ended this season, I would have two pennies.

I every now and then had a tear rolling down my face, happy and sad ones and maybe also mad once yet this series has made me realize that I should take every day granted with people I spent time with you’ll never know when will the last day be and if people stick around. Kind of sad that we didn't get to see Jana and General reunite in the afterlife somehow though, that would have been sweet(maybe a short little aftermath episode in the future??? I remember about 3 years ago when I was trying to find interesting asmr video to fall asleep to when I found my first one from you, Tess and Wendy ep1, and that was the beginning of obsession with this series. I listened to what was out at the time of the wendigo series, jumped on the Wiccan series and learning they were connected and then learning about the whole pen situation and trying to create my own stories within the setting (including a slightly complicated and detailed explanation of how I thought technomancy should work) and being so thrilled when new episodes came out and I could see more of the story build and painfully watch the slow burn of scypher and scales all ending with me lying in a tent of New Year’s Day listening to this beautiful ending. Thank you so much Eris for creating this story, I honestly believe I am better off for experiencing it. 🩵💚💜

It feels too surreal that this series is already over. It feels just like yesterday that I stumbled upon the Beginning of Scales’ story. Always excited for the next upload. Wondering what would happen next. The slow burn with Sypher was agonizing, feeling the emotional tension between them, I could feel it in my lungs. It was palpable. I was celebrating to high earth when they finally got together. Watching them evolve and bond ever closer was a sight to behold. From an abused and mistreated experiment to the most powerful, the first Dragon to return to the sky. This was a beautiful story. It will forever hold a special place in my heart. The only “lingering question” I have is What happened to the Council after everything happened? Did they disband? Change seat members? (really hoping Crystal got the boot up her ass, never to return)

I don't like endings due to what they are; an end. Not because of how they turned out but of how it's an end to something you either started as the writer or started followed from the beginning or midway through that made you start at the beginning to experience the story. It was a good story from beginning to end, but that doesn't stop how i feel when something does come to an end.

A thought just came to mind (if Eris is willing) a PEN series but with the trios children i haven't thought of any names yet, but I know Scales and Scypher would have two sets of twins first male twins (dragon, siren and demon) The second female twins (banshee, siren and dragon). Eve and BB would have three kids varying in age, the eldest would be in Termination, Second in Accusations, and third in rehabilitation each taking a different role in the PEN. Sascha and Fangs would have a fraternal twins the son takes after Sascha and the daughter takes after Malcolm, both would be close and have a friendly rivalry. Sacha's daughter and Eves eldest would always be placing bets on who could take out more.
