What does the last image about dramatic and gamine mean?

There are certain combinations of the color palettes and the style types that clash, particularly according to the author, Bernice Kentner. So I didn't make a mood board for dramatic for this season.

Adding black and grey is the same, except grey also contains white. I am not sure I understand the difference between shades and tones. They seem like the same to me.

When, I as an artist, I “grey” a color, I add a shade of yellow to the paint. I don’t intend to darken it as adding black would.

So I’m a choleric with secondary phlegmatic. I look best in warm colors but not the very, very rich colors - I prefer the shades that are somewhat muted. Is there a good book that puts all of this personality stuff together? Or somewhere that I could read about this very specific personality?
