You bring such a joyful spirit to the practice of fasting. What used to seem like deprivation from the outside now feels like a gift. I've learned to connect fasting with simplicity and real rest. ✨️

Enjoy your post. I’m homing in on my goal of 50 pounds weight loss using IF and keto with a flexible 20/4 OMAD. With that I mean one meal and a protein snack, peanut butter or nuts, etc. From what I’ve learned from you, and of course Fast, Feast, Repeat. I will go to a light keto, few more carbs but try and stay off heavy carb meals. Thanks

I have been fasting for 115 days. I am 5’9” and started out at 133# and I have lost 2#. Doing 18/6 or 19/5 for an amazing amount of energy each day. Just wanted to let you know you can live this lifestyle and maintain your weight even if you don’t need to lose weight. #feelingreat

Jackie was totally my inspiration for drinking black coffee and I've drank coffee for 30 yrs with sugar and cream 😏. Once I mastered drinking straight black coffee, it seemed to kick in my metabolism 😁

@Lynn E I think it also depends on how much you like coffee and if coffee is something you really want to be in your fasting window. I haven't tried sparkling water yet but drinking just water or ice water wasn't enough for me. Plus I'm older so caffeine is an absolute must for me lol. I also have a neighbor who drinks it black so our morning chats with our black coffee was a big help. Good luck, you'll see a big difference when you cut it down to straight black🤗

@@FrugalGal you can do it, I know you can. Also try watching Autumn, she's a licensed nutritionist and says that we actually need some fat in our coffee too. However I would try to drink straight black at first if you can. The more I get into fasting the more I'm learning. You can definitely reverse diabetes or stop from getting a diagnosis for diabetes by fasting and diet. At first o got confused and overwhelmed with all the info out there. I can honestly say I finally felt my metabolism kick in after I started drinking black coffee. I was loosing weight with ease. I've slipped through and haven't been practicing IF completely these last few months....big move and big purchases 🙄lol. Remember, we are all so different so find your niche and what works for you. My main goal with fasting isn't just weight loss. I have severe RA and fibromialgia pain. I became addicted to pain meds for a long time but I celebrate 4yrs 7 months sober Wednesday. So IF is very important to me as it is for you. Also there are Facebook groups that you can join for support. I don't use FB yet but plan to in the next week. Hopefully I'll see you in one of the IF groups. I just got the book Jackie suggested too, Fast, Feast and Repeat. I ordered a used one online for $9.00 total. I can't really suggest it to you because I've not read it yet. I've heard it makes IF easier. I know this was alot but I hope it's helpful. You can beat pre-diabetes and you can drink black coffee, I know you can! Find someone to drink coffee with too, that was a huge factor in my coffee drinking success 🤗

I’ve noticed that sometimes I accidentally do up days where I only eat 500 calories & then I’m full so I stop eating. Then I sometimes have a longer window on a Saturday with my husband. After I shake up my metabolism like that, after doing mostly 18-22 OMAD fasts, I drop another pound. I started Gin’s 28 days in late May 2022 and now I’m down 22lb! Planning to lose 10 more but still planning to do OMAD as a lifestyle since I’m 52 & heading into menopause . I like the extra energy IF gives me and the healing has been doing to my body. Thank you so much, Jackie for continuing to make videos that inspire all of us and create this wonderful community!

Jackie! I'm so happy I found your chanel.. I can't believe I'm drinking coffee BLACK no stuff in it EXCEPT. sometimes during my feasting window.. I indulge. I am also reading Fast.. Feast.. Repeat by Gin Stephens.. GAME CHANGER for me..I basically do 20/4 or OMAD.. I so appreciate your approach because it was FREEING. LITERALLY!! I find myself not craving much of anything and it's just so freeing..Thank you for being YOU❣❣❣❣💯💢❣

Thanks for another great video! I love your make up btw 😊 I was just wondering if you've ever felt faint/light headed while fasting and what did you do about it? I haven't started fasting yet as I'm waiting for my book to arrive. I sometimes get low blood sugar and feel really dizzy and the only thing that helps is eating. Obviously this will be a problem if I'm trying to fast. I'm hoping I can get past this as I've been trying to lose weight for years and nothing has worked. Have a great time at Disney World, I used to go in the 90's and had so much fun! 💜🌺🌻

I live in Fort Lauderdale. I hope you have a good safe trip to Orlando and hope you don't get rained out. There is a storm currently forecast to be heading in that direction, but hopefully it will head further out west and miss Florida. Make sure to keep track of what's going on with it. 😬

Hey, Great video. I was wondering...How many calories should we be eating intermittent fasting. I haven't been counting, but I have been intermittent fasting most days. Weekends I am relaxed more (eat when I want opposed to waiting until I hit a window), but I haven't lost any weight. I started around June. I like the way I feel fasting. I don't like the way I feel being full all the time. So, I keep fasting even though I am not losing weight. Also, I did keto for a while (a few years on and off) before intermittent fasting.

Hi. Myrna from SA. Wish I could talk to you more one on one. I'm sure so many people ask you that. Do you always eat when you are hungry and stop when you are full? How long did it take for you to get appetite correction? Enjoy Disney World.

So thrilled! I tightened up my IF after finding you and then reading FFR by Gin at your recommendation. Today I end of week 18 and I am down 15 lbs. I did have some plateaus, but I kept doing my 18 to 23 hour fasts and 6-1 hour eating window. Sometimes I threw in longer fasts to break the plateau, but it didn’t always work. I’m really thrilled with my results! I have resumed running and now prepping for 1/2 marathon in December. I eat 2 meals over 4-6 hours in my long run days. My times are faster and I feel better after my runs unlike 18 weeks ago when it hurt to run!! Thank you!!
