You CAN Find a Girl That Does Car Stuff With You: Here's How I Did (Where NOT To Look) Project Car 3

In todays episode of Project Car I sit down with my girlfriend Logan to talk about some things that will help you find a girl who is the type of person to support you for who you really are. It's a hard world out there for us car guys when it comes to females. We are so dedicated and absorbed with what we do that our lives never have an off button when it comes to cars and racing. That lack of diversity isn't tolerable by most average females and more often than not a dude curbs his real desire to expand and enjoy car related things because of it. It hurts everything and kills passion. It kills the best avenue for personal growth guys like us could ever have. Don't let that happen! I hope someone out there learns from this and saves themselves time and energy when it comes to who they allow into their life and spend time with. You build the car...it builds you back!

One of the key points of this video is to AVOID “car girls”… you find a girl that’s not involved in car world at all and start with a blank slate. If they support you and enjoy doing things with you…they’ll be by your side in the garage too. THAT is my point here 🤟🏻 Merch link: Stapletonautoworks.com

I enjoy this informative look at you and Logan. From my perspective your young and just getting going BUT you’re doing things right. Be the person you would want to spend time with. Plus be “Partners in Crime”. Plan and Stick to the Stuff that Works. You’re love language speaks volumes. Logan is sooo in love with you Mitchel she’s expresses it in her touching and calming you. Did you notice that ? She’s your calming force to your bull headed, full speed ahead, personality. Celebrate that and let that grow. Show us you letting her touch you. You don’t show that when you work. Plus touch her more. During this installment she did all the touching. You just petted your hands. Watch your body language. We are. Love you guys, DM Bryant

How I met my car woman: Was working at a target and a girl I thought was cute started a couple weeks later. We had talked a couple times before but I didn't know anything about her. One day I'm leaving to go home and saw her sitting on the bench out front and asked "hey do you need a ride home?" She laughs and says "no I have my own car", and as a car guy I ask "what do you drive?" She responds " the Z28 Camaro"! That just happens to be the freaking car Ive been drooling over the last couple weeks 😂. Turns out she has been drag racing with her dad and has been super competitive racing for a couple years. Man did I feel like a dork trying to take her home in a 90' c1500. We've been married for 13 years and have 3 kids together, and she still has been down the quarter mile faster than me 😆

I think their comment about not dating a car girl was meant to be don’t go with a poser car girl (the one who has the racing/car channel shirt but drives a Camry with no interest in actually owning or modifying a car). If she drives a Camry because she’s saving up for that chevelle or she grew up in a car family, then that’s fine. Never go for the girl driving a car that her ex modified for her years ago and hasn’t been changed since or improved on.

Nancy's guy Frank here, just had to say that you folks have some great advice... I'm a 75 year old guy, who was 25 years old when I did exactly the same thing you suggested (after trying every other way possible, yes, I guess I was a slow learner). I was in Radio/TV back when it was all live, and it was difficult to find a lady who would put up with a guy in broadcasting, the industry was/is very unstable. Using the method you mentioned it all worked out. I can say it worked the same way 50 years ago just like you said it would... So you can say it IS TIMELESS advice that works. Be your self, be truthful and up front. Thanks Great video!

I’ve been too busy with my cars to even get a girlfriend, not that there are many to choose from in my area. Kinda sucks these days though. I don’t drink, so bars are out. The malls closed years ago. There is no other real social place in my area outside bars. Car shows are usually filled with families. So I just keep doing my thing and she comes along, then great. If not, oh well. I’m almost 40 now. I’ve gotten pretty used to the idea of living alone for the rest of my life. Some negatives to that, but a lot of positives to it as well (no drama, a lot less expenses like college funds, weddings, and so forth). If I’m open to having a girlfriend or wife but at this point, if it doesn’t happen, then whatever.

My guy is right. My girl was a hipster from Northern Virginia in a high end part of town and wasn't in the car scene at all. Now I got her pulling radiators and installing manifolds in the Yukon Denali. Of she loves you and has your best interests, she'll at least try and learn the ropes. She wants to feel what you feel when you are working on something or racing. And thats sharing a vibe. Which may or may not be the whole point of life. Again huge fan bro, but honestly I got to chill. Just got my latest ticket 3 months ago....that was my 8th ticket. ALL my speeding tickets are in Yukons 😅🤣😂😂😅😅🤣😂 they are so fun to make fast.

Mitchell and Logan are way ahead of where I was in my 20s. At least I figured out that I needed an education and got a degree in electrical engineering. But, I didn't get my life in gear until I met and married a woman who was the complete opposite of me. I was much like Mitchell. Cars and Guitars and Racing. I'd make a dollar and spend two dollars on stuff. Lots of toys, debt and no plan. There is something to be said for being with someone who has a different perspective and strong opposing views. She pushed me to realize my shortcomings and make changes that have led to achievements far beyond anything I could have done without her.

I skipped over this video because I thought it was clickbait around the time I subscribed. I am glad that I have gone back and watched it. Something made me search for it. I'd say that I became that broken protect car of a person around my divorce that never sold on craigslist. It's taken 8 years of failed starts and missing parts like any project. I'd say that I'm 4 years into a "frame off" restoration on myself, but the professionals have helped. Just like a car. And you are right, others can't fix broken people. But broken people can fix themselves, but it's never going to be show quality. Just a good damn daily driver is all, just like some projects cars.

Something stupid, something stupid, something stupid.... lol. I couldn't help myself. You are not wrong with a lot of what you were saying. The whole "build your ideal woman in your mind". I have done this my entire life. I would always get the idea in my head of what I was looking for and it would happen. Then if that relationship didn't work out in would take what I learned from there and edit what I was looking for. Eventually you get to who you are supposed to be with.

hey I've been watching a few videos on the channel since the review you did with thatdudeinblue and your dope Escalade, and this video got recommended. It's nice to see people that are close to my age sharing their advice and experience about this stuff. I have struggled with my self confidence since I was a teenager. I am a pretty skinny dude and my high school experience was very hard on me, didn't talk to anyone and had no real friends outside of classes. Never been on a date in my 22 years of life, but I just keep doing my thing and try to work on being a better version of myself everyday. Thanks for sharing!

Mitch and Logan, you two are amazing! Thank you for the insights. We all see the life you two live by the videos you post or the pictures you post. We all know, whether we want to admit it or not, you have lives off of social media. I'm sure the balance for the relationship is what you do for her when the cameras aren't on, since the channel isn't about that. Relationships take 2 people, with same or different interests, that are willing to put in the work of doing what their partner loves. For you, it's cars, for her, well, we don't really know and it isn't our business if you don't want to share. Share the experiences with each other. Laugh with each other. Do the things you both love, be it together or not.

I have noticed that she is very observant. She will point out smaller details that are interesting and have meaning. I have seen her getting down on the deck and looking for something underneath the vehicle. She fills in stuff while you are doing most of the interviews. And working on the mustang/welding is impressive.

My wife of 27 years has always been supportive of me and my mechanical hobbies(she even rode on the back of my turbocharged motorcycle on numerous occasions), and she knows it keeps me out of the bars and out of major trouble. She does revel in the fact that I've tweaked her '14 Chrysler 300C with 5.7 hemi to where it is a sleeper car now and faster than my '12 hemi/manual trans Challenger R/T. She may stay out of my garage and I may stay out of her kitchen, but she is always willing to help me with my mechanical stuff if I ask, and I'm also an accomplished cook as is she, and I do help her in the kitchen each night by cleaning it up after she makes us our meals. I could go on and on but would take up most of the page here.......we are there for each other, she is my queen and I'm her king, and neither of us has sole control in our relationship. We are in it together as one. Key statement in point my wife made when I brought the '12 Challenger home from the dealer in late 2012: " Damn, now that car is f'n' SEXY!" This only reinforces what I said about her being supportive! Love the statement at 12:20 in the video when you said you have to be a high quality individual if you want a high quality individual in your life.......well-spoken statement! I also hear you on the tall & lanky thing in high school, was 6'5" and 160 lbs and, if I stuck my tongue out, I'd have looked like a f'n' zipper. Keep up the great video content, love it!

You both make great points! Mine has been helping me (or putting up with my craziness) for over 30 years. She will help me out on projects, car related or not. There are times where I have participated along side her in the activities she likes from time to time as well. It takes a balance, not always an even 50:50 split. I enjoyed this video, it was nice to learn how you and logan got together. From the few videos where Logan has been involved in, she seems very nice. I totally agree with you, you have to be a real person, don't try and be someone who you are not, as eventually you will be found out. So it is good to have a partner who has a few differences to yourself, so you have something to discuss. So basically if you don't have respect for yourself than you won't find someone who will have respect for you. I love how you both are real people, and you have grown as a couple. I have enjoyed your videos, and I also like your merchandise as I enjoy wearing my shirt that I bought from you. It is a nice comfortable shirt. Take care and Happy New Year

I am a disabled veteran, I live in a trailer in TN, I spend most of my time working on cars and trucks. I have a 2004 GTO in storage in Arlington, TX that is all disassembled and ready to put an engine in. Got a couple trucks I want to do interesting builds with. I have been looking for a good woman and it's really, really tough. I'm sure it'll come when it's time.

I absolutely love everything that yall talked about in this video. This is great advice and Im glad you are saying these things. I was lost in my life and thankfully was able to figure most of this out on my own before I got to old and stuck on the wrong path. Ive always had a feeling that you were a super real legit couple but watching this just affirms how I feel about yall. Out of pretty much any youtuber I watch I could say I would want to be friends with folks like yall more than any other. I relate to everything you said in this video as I feel like Ive lived it. I dont know how old you all are but you are definitely wise for your age. The one thing I feel as if should be a capstone to this conversation is once that woman is found make sure you constantly appreciate uplift and love that woman unconditionally. I know I am a bit older than yall at 30 years old but I am blessed to finally have found my partner and will be married later this year. Love and cherish your woman. So long as she is the right woman, a GOOD woman, she will compliment you and make you stronger in all that you do. It is just as yall said to those who have not yet found their Bonnie, dont look for a woman because she is in to cars, hell dont even look for a woman. Focus on yourself and what makes you a happy and more fulfilled person and soul. When the right partner presents thyself they will want to immerse into your world just because it is where you are. In the end HOME is not a place but where ever my partner is. Once you fulfill your life and find happiness a partner will desire to join your life so they can also share you "success". Keep on keepin it real brotha and sista the world needs more people like yall and us! Yall are officially my favorite channel. And oh yeah, PUT A RING ON IT BUDDY!! I know that level of commitment can be scary especially with coming from a dysfunctional family(I know from experience) but trust me when I say if you know you know. Waste no time becoming one, time is our moat precious commodity. You found yours buddy now boot up get to work and live life with love!! Much love brother, the best of luck to yall!!!

it was cool to watch this video, my wife and I have been together for 25 years, our first date was to the street races, where I broke my car and she bought me a tow rope to get it back to her house, she came from a non automotive family that took there cars in for repair, and I came from a family of race car builders and drivers, she has always jumped in head first to help with the building of my street and race cars, and now that I am disabled and can no longer turn a wrench, she does all the building of engines, your story is looking to start off kinda like mine did, and I hope 25 years from now to see you posting something close to this here, but not the disabled part, speaking of which, treat your body good, its the only one you got!
