I had the wonderful chance to speak to sovcidiot a while back & asked them point blank... "If you go to any country in the world, Canada, England, etc., are you not subject to the laws, rules, & regulations of that country & its local jurisdictions??" They answered, "Of course!" So I asked them, "What country & jurisdiction are you in right now, at this moment?" Answer, "United States of America. In New York State." "So, don't you think you should be controlled by the laws, rules, & regulations of New York State & of the Us?" They couldn't answer coherently... 😅😅

I am a criminal defense lawyer. The rights of criminal defendants are not mostly contained in the 4th Amendment. They are contained in the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th Amendments. The 4th Amendment is only about detentions and searches. The 5th is about getting due process in criminal proceedings. The 6th is about the right to counsel. The 8th is about the right to confrontation and the right against cruel and unusual punishment.

He also cursed at the judge at a prior hearing and then claimed the Judge needed to recuse himself as he was now prejudiced against the defendant. He has claimed he wanted to represent himself, then been persuaded to accept counsel, then fired counsel. This guy is crazy like a fox. He is trying to muddy the water. His accomplice, his girlfriend, was sentenced to 40 years. He has been in jail for 19 months because of HIS delays. And, of course, when he is convicted he will claim he did not have adequate representation.

In college, I studied 2 subjects - Computer Science, and Philosophy. So... I have studied a LOT of logic. Of all kinds. And... I do not believe the man defending himself has any understanding of logic. Nor would I attempt to convince a jury with use of logical argumentation. Very few people are familiar with, or look positively on, the kind of concrete arguments philosophers make. In philosophy, if someone says 'she was thrown down the stairs', but it turns out she was actually kicked and fell down the stairs, then your claim is false and there is no wiggle room. That is not the case in court or anywhere else, and the jury would not be convinced. 'Thrown down the stairs' is entirely acceptable rhetorical flourish for describing any situation where one person causes another to fall down the stairs. And it sounds like he's going to base his defense on arguing against use of language like that? Hah. Good luck.
