People are slaves to dreams of other people. We send our children to schools so they get the illusion of knowing something about everything. All we do in reality is creating the worse kind of slaves. There's no real communication at school. It's a one way street. You either listen and adapt to become a slave of the worst kind or you don't and will be allways misunderstood by the slaves which hold themselves together.. All the dreams of humanity have become so american. Be on top of the world everything else beneath you.. It's a sickness disguised as a dream, it's hell for all life diguised as heaven. Back in the day all a slave wanted is to become free. Now many aspire to become slaveowners themselves. We lose our humanity in school. Our system is a honeytrap build on explotation and dominance and it's just a matter of time when it's growth will turn into a depression.

This starts from school obeying to the commands and shutdown your creative thinking and turn to a slave waiting for command to do one thing. Elon musk started his own school for his kids. He dont want his kids programmed to slave workers.

I know the importance of leisure, however there's no conflict between memorization and observation, both are beneficial. I think through problematisation thinking, which has dualistic meanings, you can accomplish fresh experience to things. To Defamiliarize the familiar and familiarize the strange according to values.

One of the tricks you can do to not reflexively/habitually store up the observation as dogmatic-memory, is to convince yourself that no observation is ever complete, you can go on unfolding new new layers of meanings and insights through observations. The intensity of observation correspond to the depth of discovery. So, first don't make any final conclusion about any observation. Science works like that, we no longer call anything immutable law, but theories, open to change and amendation or discard.
@Golden_seeker4 жыл бұрын
More precise would be to say, no EXPERIMENT is ever complete. That is why, even in science, we repeat experiments. Even the known ones. Repeatedly old experiments again and again. Know why ? Because even the most stupid scientist knows the power of fresh OBSERVATION.
@Geneiveve3 жыл бұрын
We certainly can make new discoveries. We can uncover that which is unknown. But that does not negate that which is immutable. Just because one discovers something formerly unknown does not mean it did not always exist ,unchanged and timeless. In order to have change there must be the existence of that which is constant or unchanged.

One of his main points he always tries to drill into people listening, some or most will live a whole life without this concept, or will learn it late and suffer a crisis of self in how profound and simple it is. The last thing he says in this clip, he makes a mistake by saying if you cannot, when he means if you can, this last sentence can sound confusing the way he stated it.

I think JK means this in case of interpersonal relationships. That is to say, we must sometimes give up our prejudices and proceed in a relation with a fresh outlook. For that is the most pragmatic thing to do in dealing with our relatives. However, the same cannot be said about academic knowledge where the utility of the fresh knowledge depends on our understanding of the knowledge accumulated in the past.

Suppose i want to learn advance course in mathematics. I dropped all my memory. Then no matter how much i have fresh look at it, that fresh look is not going to make any iota of sense to me... So memory is important, repetition is important. Because some stuffs are so big that they are taught in fragments. And for that, you have to be mechanical.
@Golden_seeker4 жыл бұрын
@Aishwary Tiwari , We first need to understand maths isnt observational science. Meaning math is mostly based on some beliefs called axioms and then deductions. Thats it, thats maths. However the interesting point is that, these axioms of maths can be broken through observations. Meaning like say, for example, euclid maths had this axiom that straight lines geometry. It was all good, till we observed that light curves around gravitational objects like planets and stars. So then we knew WE CANT APPLY EUCLID'S GEOMETRY EVERYWHERE. So we then had to make new kinds of geometry. If we didnt have the courage to do fresh observations, we would always be stuck with euclids geometry. Forever. Or whoever is the first to create any kind of geometry on this planet, based on whatever axioms, we all would have to follow it blindly. Jiddu krishnamurthy asks us to observe without any prior axioms or conceptions, because he knows that it may be so that we may have been wrong all along. Even at the first axiom. Like our assumption might have been wrong. And unbiased observation gives us scope to correct our prior convinctions. Thats it. Very very simple concept.
