Disney Pixar's Up is one of the best Pixar movies of all time. To celebrate its 15th anniversary, Airbnb and Pixar have teamed up to bring Carl's house into our world. It's an incredibly faithful adaptation to the source material, complete with balloons and even the ability to float in the air!

It's fun to see people are remaking iconic cartoon items into the real world. Shrek's Swamp, the Simpsons house, The Mystery Shack. I wouldn't mind if we gotten The Owl House, the Griffin's house from Family Guy. It takes a lot of work to make these iconic places, and I give the people credit that they make a good job.

This is so precious and bittersweet. Carl and ellie is one of the best love stories ever. Love and loss. Good job to airbnb for staying true to the movie. Brings a happy tear to my eye. I never cry when watching the movie itself but something deep inside wishes ellie could of stayed a bit longer. Poor girl didnt make it through half the movie :(

This movie of my childhood must have an Oggy and the cockroaches reference because in "Airship house" Oggy's house was floating around the town because of the nasty furballs of Dee-Dee, Marky and Joey did a huge mess with the balloons on Jack's birthday when he already got burned alive with the power wires and he yelled loudly by ending up to burn my ears!

Y'know, I'm quite glad they used a crane to lift up this impressive looking replica of Carl's house, 'cause I don't wanna imagine the kinds of freak accidents that could happen as a result of it actually being lifted up by a bunch of balloons like in the original movie... Also, to answer your question, I could see them doing SpongeBob's pineapple house at some point, as well as The Simpsons' house (although I am aware that it was made into a real life location before, so no need to remind me of that). Heck, maybe they'll even break into video game properties at some point. Wake me up when Klonoa's house in Breezegale gets the Airbnb treatment!
