Really like the bike. I went to dealer to get fork oil from my KLR. They had the yellow and blue 800DE on the showroom floor. My wife was about to get violent, so it is still there, I guess.

I bought this combo but found it didn'y play well with the oem bash plate with the bottom rhs of the engine guard needed to have a bit of material removed to fit properly. Other than that it was very simple to fit and a massive improvement on the plastic rad guard.

It's foamed there too. Haven't noticed a difference in noise which is good

V Strom doesn't seem to have a fan,I'm worried mine is going to run hot during summer months if you're not moving at a reasonable speed

There is No way of avoiding broken thingis on ze bike! So I rather have a bike easy to handle and not overweighted by overprotection although nowadays people seem to be ok with dragging along on >200 kg bikes 😂
