Pete “What you think guys?” Us : “No Pete, wait for someone else to help you carry that” (Work Smarter Not Harder) Pete : “F**k that” and Pete activated his inner will to get this done right now. That was a great job doing it by yourself but always becareful Pete because you have some back and shoulder issues before. Keep up the awesome job as always. Milo will always be there patting your back and saying “Good job Pete but rub my belly now”

I remember coming home from school one day ... and I said to my Mom ... I just can't do it anymore. She said what do you mean? I said " Well .. I can't do both .. go to School and play the Accordion". She said what are you going to do? I said "Well ... I guess I will just have to quit school". And that was the end of my Accordion days. Pete, I cannot believe that the receiver you got, I have the same exact model in my collection, The TR-1040 is a super cool receiver. I picked mine up at a garage sale about 5-6 yrs ago, I think I paid $5-10 bucks for it untested. I ended up repairing a few minor little odds and ends, but overall it has been a great piece of equipment. I just purchased a storage unit full of old school ham radio equipment, No one wanted to bid on this unit because of the size but everyone missed the goodies hidden in the back. So far I have pulled out some really nice pieces. Anyways thanks for the great video thanks for sharing.

Good job, Pete. When you're a one man rigging crew, you learn the hierarchy of moving loads early on. Roll it; if you can't roll it, slide it; if you can't slide it, only then lift it. Too many jabonies only think of lifting which often results in a disaster.

You have reason to be excited, Tandberg is NEAT stuff. Those receivers have some kinda "turn on delay" relay (to prevent a harsh transient going through the speakers) which can queef out. If that's the problem with that unit, it's pretty minor

On another note, has anyone ever even seen the ORIGINAL first production of home video tape recorders? Not studio stuff, but the so called home models? What they were, is two large, heavy boxes hooked together with cables. One box was just the tuner, the other was the recorder. They would not work as a recorder separately though in theory you could use the receiver part alone and hook it to a TV to have a second tuner. These things were large and very heavy, I think they still had vacuum tubes at the time. I saw one once, at a flea market, I passed on it because more compact single box units were already out. Just thought it was interesting, but not worth keeping around. Tho if I'd kept it until now, it might be worth a lot as a collector's item, no way to know.
@lancegraham98705 жыл бұрын
that bull thing reminds me of a medieval torture device. but that was a little bigger than that. thye would put someone inside the bull and lock the door with rope or something and build a fire underneath the metal bull and u could hear the person screaming and stuff and u can see smoke come out the nose when it got hot enough

I don't really understand EBay... I went on, looked up a doorknob/deadbolt lock purely randomly. I looked at the latest bid price and then looked up the item on the retailers website. It was more than $100 cheaper for the exact item to buy it from the retailer. Why would someone not look up what the item is originally sold for if they were interested in it? Why would a person spend MORE on EBay than from the retailer's online store? I will never understand that. People, do your homework!

Just a thought as a cool tribute to Milo, how about adding a little gold halo over his head on your front window graphic. Also, that bull grill is amazing. It reminds me of an old Roman torture device they had to roast people to death. Look up "Brazen Bull" , it's really morbid but fascinating.

Wow musical treats! If it were me, I'd keep that grill for the shop; attention grabber for the patio even from the road. Either way, I'd put stupid money on the price tag, sort of a "come & take it" if you can ;) Then you drag a punch machine out!??! I think the partner & I need to make a road trip.
