I admit that getting SS at 62 might be good for some people. I am glad that I waited to FRA @ 66. My health is very good and I am enjoying the extra $$ from my SS payment going to my bank each month. It looks to me as if you have other sources of retirement income to provide sustenance. Right now SS provides me with about 60% of my needs, glad I waited until FRA. The rest comes from annuity payments and Roth IRA's. Thanks for sharing your life experience. I do not find anything on your channel that is offensive. Keep on truckin!

Retirement can occur at any age you desire. If you have the resources there is no reason to keep working at a job you don't enjoy. I don't need the Social Security income but I am taking it while it exists. If you don't have the resources to retire then keep working if you need to. 62 starting SS. I worked building and remodeling . Physical work, lifting, moving fast all day long. Working in cold, heat, rain and snow. That's why I will retire at 62. Those office workers have no idea. After a few months off I feel so much better. I don't why people who disagree get so mad at people retiring at 62.

Tim, one of the channels, BV, came across my feed and I checked it out. You were the thumbnail so of course had curiosity. My actual take on it was I laughed at the parody part of it. Once you start to have channels focusing on you, you know you’ve made it. None of your followers will leave because of those channels. You only have potential for more views because people will now be curious who you are. As challenging as it may be, my worthless advice would be not to get in the back and forth of it, best to not even acknowledge them as it only stokes the fire and gives them more to talk about. I have seen some KZbinrs destroyed by the back and forth, and inability to ignore. Your followers are not dumb, and as most of us are older, don’t give a rat’s a** what other people are saying.

Thanks, Tim. Guys like me who are less than ten years away from retirement, who are never going to be rich in retirement, should take a look at your channel. I see a man who takes what God has blessed him with, doesn’t complain, and makes the best out of it. And if I lived in Florida, I’d probably ask you to go fishing with me because I know you’re the kind of guy who’d be a good friend. Your channel is encouraging to me. It helps me to not worry about how I’m stacking up against other people who say you’ve got to have so much saved up for a good life in retirement (which is unreasonable for me to attain). KZbin should really not allow some channels to attack other channels. It is cyber bullying. But, you can just save all the info you can and then file a report. Ask them to do something about it or better yet have a lawyer contact them for you. The channels can be removed if there is a lot of saved info that shows a pattern of relentless bullying.

You are right in believing that other channels are talking about you, to get more views for them. It happens all the time really. I see many channels talking crap about well established channels, to try and build theirs up. It can be really tough to build up a good following on KZbin. As I myself am finding with my channel, although it's fairly new. Even if you do have good content. If KZbin does not push your videos out there. It makes it almost impossible to get views. So, this is why people tend to latch on to channels that are doing well. Saying things about them, so that they will attract new viewers, and possible new subscribers. Anyway, your best bet is to just let the talk run off your shoulders, like water from the rain. After all,....they are just helping build your channel even more....

Ahh, yes. The Howard Stern guy! I discovered him about 1-1.5 weeks ago, because I also started getting him in my feed, because I’m a Sarasota Tim subscriber and he has Sarasota Tim in the title of a lot of these smear videos. He also appears to make videos spearing another nomadic KZbinr. A lot of these people try to build their followings by bashing and name dropping in video titles more successful channels. It’s almost their business model to gain more subscribers. I’m sure it bought him a few subscribers for sure, but his channel is not shooting through the roof with new subs because of it, either. And I’m sure it’s also buying Tim and whoever he roasts a few more subs. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. Tim and the other guy are living in his head rent free.
