Pretty brilliant song construction and coordination between the two guitars. John at his finest, lyrically, and playing lead in the solo. And Georgie coming up with a simple but masterfully catchy riff. Great stuff!

I like the Beatles very much. I especially like the distinctive harmonica in 'love me do'. The intro melody of 'you can't do that' with the 12-string guitar is a perfect match.

John only played four or five strings of this guitar. But don't get me wrong: I love John's rhythm and I would like the most if he has made more solos.

How did you change the sound change for the 325s solo?
@ablyhouseisolated3 жыл бұрын
I think Neil did that in post-production. I must have played too loud and Neil lowered the volume. This is something the engineers at EMI would have been able to do as well. They would make notes and play the mixing board as an instrument into the tape. In logic we just drop the part we want quieter onto a new track or automate the fader to duck down

@grungeisdead89983 ай бұрын
Lmfao you can only get “close” when trying to recreate a tone and cover a song there’s no possibile way to make it sound identical and tbh it sounds great for what it is, no need to nitpick stupid shit
@ktol80429 күн бұрын
@@grungeisdead8998 I think in terms of feel the original is waaaaay better than this cover. George's part in particular is not played quite right and so the the song is missing a lot of energy compared to how The Beatles played it.
