Opening a chest in The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild is satisfying, but what happens when you can't reach a treasure chest? Turns out, there are a lot of impossible chests in Breath of the Wild which the player can't access because Nintendo glitched them into the ground. Nevertheless, some brave glitch hunters have found a way to reach these chests and obtain the rupees, gems, and weapons inside them. Here is their story...

Second Wind is *GENIUS!* An absolute *MASTERSTROKE* of a mod, not just because I'm a 100%er and was _devastated_ about those chests, but *MAN* does it add a *LOT* of new content. Ordon Village, a *DOZEN* bosses more memorable than any Blight, new weapons and blacksmiths, new armor & all armor upgrade-able, dozens of new missions... If it isn't obvious, I'm a fan and recommend it wholly. Kudos to the CEOBrainz team for providing us with what I can only describe as Breath of the Wild 2 haha

@@zeldaenby224 if there are no other lizards nearby, the sensor will try to point at something with a weak "connection", but when you go towards it, it disappears and the sensor points behind you (indicating you've walked past it). Its nowhere to be seen, so i'm assuming it's stuck in the ground like the chests in the video

Instead of Ollie clipping, use a skew, on the last chest, and moon jump to it, stasis something and shoot it up at the last chest, easy! It’s only a concept, but I think it may work.

Every single unobtainable chest in the game, what they contain, and ways in which you can break the game and get them anyway. This is *exactly* what I was looking for! I certainly won't be troubling myself with trying to get these, but it is quite interesting to learn about how it's technically possible. I'm very curious as to why Nintendo never bothered to fix any of these misplaced chests in any of the several update patches. Surely they are aware of these and they are easily fixable, so WTF?

I'm not sure they were aware of the chest. There existence was obscure to most of the community and on and overworld map it looks like they are in entirely accessible. You only notice they're unobtainable if you go to each individual chest.

I don't get. There are caves with in the game just blow up certain wall on the side of mountains just because it's different from the traditional Zelda game style doesn't mean there are no caves, also just like the one stuck in the sand and in the lake early on just shake them loose or knock them loose with another chest or something, easy, some maybe part of some of the ancient dungeons before activating them.

There's also another ridiculously hard treasure chest to get in Lake Hylia. It's really far beneath the surface for magnesis range and I even tried stasising it and smacking it with a metal cube from nearby, but again, it's out of magnesis range so I couldn't figure out how to get it down there and control it. Any tips?
