As long as Klay keeps this up, Mavs are gonna be deadly. Luka and Kyrie were already a deadly duo when they perform, but having Klay’s threes, Gafford’s defense and post up game, and Lively’s big man play is gonna make the Mavs a very well rounded and deadly overall starting lineup. But of course, it’s a matter of consistency and execution.

I think charles barkley is wrong, but even if he's right, the mavs showed me something very important last playoffs that make me think they will be dangerous even as a lower seed. These guys fight EVERY possession. There were actually a lot of close games for the mavs last playoff run and they clutched it out on luka and kyries briiliance, and the efforts of the whole squad. They want it. Now they have a whole season to play together. If luka's knees don't explode again, and kyrie doesnt freak out in the finals, they'll beat anyone.

To beat the Mavs, the game can't be close at the end. Luka and Kyrie are 2 of the most clutch players the nba has ever seen. Luka already has multiple games in the post-season that he hit the game winning jump-shot. Last year he made the 4 time DPOY look like he never played basketball in his life on the buzzer beating 3. Luka also hit a game winning 3 in his first playoffs against the Clippers that had Kawhi and P. George. Kyrie only hit one of the biggest shots in nba history in game 7 in the Finals to beat the Warriors, and now they have Klay. Cmon man. By the end of the year if everyone's healthy they're going to be blowing teams out... no diddy.

KD look like he's ready to leave the Suns tomorrow and who knows where he's gonna go. Wolves are still solid, just need chemistry. Lakers may have wasted a slot on Bronny but they looking ok too. The west is still the west. With that said I feel confident about 3rd seed because regular season can be a toss up with who teams play against

Kerr is a pretty underwhelming coach despite an impressive resume. He took over a very talented team (2014 warriors) and made a dynasty out of it, but I think most NBA coaches could've done that in that situation.

The amount of wide open shots DJJ and PJ took during the second half of the season compared to the amount of wide open shots he got in GS is exactly why both parties knew this would work. Luka gets his guys wide open shots like nobody else, his gravity is the strongest. Throw in Klay and Kai and you cannot defend them. It’s just not possible, so health is critical, (obviously), but more so with Dallas because if they are available they will win.

Today, Dallas is not a good team.... we don't need another piece, what we need is time.... we have only seen glimpses of what they can be... some snap opinions: Quentin Grimes will be a key piece... Naji has not shown us anything, yet... Klay is a perfect fit already and can only get better... Luka is starting slow and still figuring out how to use all the weapons he has... Jaden has taken another step but afraid that with all the guards we have, he might be groomed for trade-bait.... And Derek is even better in all aspects....
