Tammer deserves the world for his work. some of the most creative mods I have ever seen and I've been modding New Vegas since I was a wee lad back in 2013. Probably my favorite modder out there. "Every added dependency is an additional barrier to entry." Fucking thank you. In so few words, that is what I've been (poorly) trying to explain to everyone who criticizes me for not utilizing extra script extenders. While I still use NVSE because it's a necessity for some of my ideas, I refuse to use any other script-extenders because they are constantly being updated and changed. And when script extenders get changed, functionality can become broken. For that reason, I always make sure every one of my mods can work completely fine with legacy NVSE and the newer xNVSE. Legacy NVSE is never changing. It is no longer being updated. And there is a whole history of mods that function with legacy NVSE. That's why some of the mods I upload have NVSE as the only dependency, and every other mod has no requirements at all.

Those guns are hilarious, but little details regarding the integration into the lore: - The USSR hasn't been heard off since the great war, 200 years ago, so the Russian accent is entirely extinct in the US - The US' culture stopped in the 50s so Disco was never invented, let alone popularized. Great video, and I love seeing mctammer in a vid, i love his kit bashed weapon and armor mods. His work is great, I love how passionate he sounds about his work and inspirations, and I appreciate his dedication to keeping his weapons mostly lore friendly and only using vanilla material to make it. It also helps that the mods aren't too taxing for lower end pcs, and they aren't too big. My favorites are the emotional support weapon, and honest herb's used power armor dealership, tammer really gets the fallout sense of humor down.

Very ironic considering you think they're violating the "community spirit" of mods. If you truly cared about this community spirit you talk about you'd make your mods and code available under a GPL license of sorts so the whole modding community could truly benefit from it. I am halfway in and i wouldnt say these mods are "so good you think they were made by obsidian" most of it is modern memes and humor from reddit repackaged as lore friendly because they use vanilla assets. This is probably because you hate "overmoded" fallout which is just a way of saying better graphics. Obsidian had much more dark and serious writing than this mod, so i guess you could say these mods feel like they were made by the outer worlds obsidian. I was expecting something like ashes 2063 which is where the music is from at the beginning of the video and instead i got fallout 4 and the outer worlds.

25:15 Oh, he's one of those modders who threw a temper tantrum when Nexus said they shouldn't be allowed to delete their mods on a whim, an actual serious problem that was affecting lists and load orders every time a modder was mad about something.

Both parties have made mistakes but Nexus is primarily at fault. It’s not a big deal having a mod be deleted & breaking a collection. Seeing as how collections did really become the crazy big feature they imagined. Wabbajack is better.

It's their mod and their creation. Nexus would be nothing without modders. It's their right to delete stuff they don't want anymore.

so dude got greedy and left is what he was saying. I like how Nexus mods made it where when the mod is uploaded it stays. I've had numerous headaches before where I'd find a really awesome mod, use it for a long time, my pc dies get a new one and redownload the game and go back to nexus mods and for whatever reason the mod is now gone. This way I can rest assured the mod will always be there, this is just about the modder wanting to lord it over people's heads they can remove it when they like and make people paranoid. >.>

@@cookieface80 for removing it and keeping others from using it all because Nexus made a new rule when you upload a mod you can't delete it, which keeps us from losing mods we like.
