This is logical as warmer temperatures encourage fauna and flora to flourish. The amount of green plant life on the planet has actually increased these past hundred years. Food production is up. Life expectancy is up. Reality, facts, reason and informed debate seem to have no part to play in this obsession with driving Britain towards Year Zero.’ CO2 is plant food - and therefore food for humanity and all animals. C02 is basis of all life on Earth. CO2 is not a pollutant. It is essential to all life on Earth. CO2 is favorable for nature, greening our planet. Additional CO2 in the air has promoted growth in global plant biomass. It is also profitable for agriculture, increasing the yields of crops worldwide. I stand to be corrected, but am given to understand that academic research and papers not aligned with the fanatical & doom-laden narrative, do not get published or funding. They don't realize that CO2 makes up only 0.04% of the atmosphere and that all the computer models based on CO2 have been totally wrong and unable to "predict" even past temperatures, let alone current temperatures! They don't realize that it has already been shown that 3 cycles that involve orbital issues etc completely account for all the temperatures in Europe from 1752 to the present. They don't realize that plants are starving for CO2 and were on the way to extinctions before CO2 levels increase from pre-industrial levels of 250ppm (0.025%) to current levels.
