This is such a measured and sensitive version; Geoff's harmonies are hauntingly gorgeous. Since my first listen, I hear it in the backround all the time. It's like a favorite constant companion to wake up hearing Geoff's lovely voice.

Have you reacted to Geoff's "far over the misty mountains cold" and "i see fire" already? Far over misty mountains was actually my introduction to Geoff and later on to VoicePlay. There's no way one can't fall in love with this amazing voice. Right now i have this song on repeat 🥰

Klown, so happy to see someone else appreciate Gimili being in this! Most reactors I've seen haven't commented on it, which was something of a bummer for a geek like me. I actually quite liked the first Hobbit movie, and then I was into the characters and world enough I didn't mind the other films, was happy to spend more time in that world, though I think they could have capped it at two. What I really want to know is if Smaug ever slipped up and called Bilbo "John" or "Watson." LOL! And yep, this is a play-on-repeat track for me. Usually for a couple hours! Every other day.💙

For Gimli, Geoff has a prosthetic nose in addition to the long beard. Loved the ghosts from "The Hobbit" tunes popping in to sing with Gimli then disappearing.
