You're right, I was there, but you can't deny the Americans total dominance in those days to now, 2018 Red Bud being the best example. Euros have stepped up, and I don't think our top guys are serial killers like RC, JS and Poto were.... My $.02
@jeffstuart4424
@jeffstuart4424 2 жыл бұрын
@@ChupacabraOffroad I don't honestly think its as much Mxgp riders have stepped up as much as Americans just aren't as good as they were 10 years ago. A lot of the current 450 riders are getting beat by Ryan Dungey who's been retired for 6 years. A lot of those riders was dominated by Dungey in 15 and 16. Not a huge Dungey fan by any means but Dungey was never known for his speed yet can still run with guys 6 years later. Just shows maybe the competition in America isn't quite as good as some hype it up. On top of that the best Americans don't ever want to race denations. Now this could all change in a few years because there are a ton of good amateurs moving up in the next couple years

@@jeffstuart4424 I agree, not as tough as the guys I mentioned, and with the long race schedule, like you said, they just don't care, especially as they get a ton of shit for it when we've been getting our asses kicked. @@ChupacabraOffroad I've heard rumors Roger Decoster is a huge reason why teams don't do denations. Kawasaki a few years ago flat out said we won't do another denations until Roger is replaced. He really flows and is great at giving credit where he sees it is due. I for one will pay good money to watch JH and ET go head to head. To bring out the best of each rider it should be a neutral track not a Lommel or complete hard pack. South wick or Spring Creek? Keep up the great work this was a very entertaining and enlightening session. I’ve been a fan of the sport since 1976 and am still fascinated by the improvements of these incredible athletes. Thanks 🙏

All bias aside. Sure he is amazingly good! But i think it must end that everyone always puts him in the position of the best rider ever. Also he is not a 5x mxgp champion. And the bubba… bubba was the fastest man ever on a bike. Will never change. If there is a bubba of europe it was everts or cairoli. Why would it be him? Dont get it Gajser… nobody talks about gajser cause he is silent. He is 2 yrs younger and won more titles in the 450 (mxgp) class And is about to win one more this season.
