I absolutely 100% agree with you Matt , facing 'reality' does NOT mean you are a hater , it means you really want The Lions to win , but you are not a "Homer" ( a designation I despise ! ) I've been rooting for the Lions since 1957 - I really want them to win , each a game is an emotional roller coaster . I beg to differ. We may never be in this position again and we HAVE told guys to sit out to prevent further injury. If guys are to a point where they get cleared and want to play, they should play. IT IS SO FREAKING HARD TO GET TO 12-2. This was no fluke but you cannot count on "next year"... that's old Lions mentality. You have to take what's in front of you and optimize it. If they can play... PLAY.

In many games Lions started slow then got progressively better. Had they not given up 2 tds in the 1st qt this game could’ve been won. It seems to me the players were concerned with Allen running which took focus away from other player. In my opinion the game plan was not the best.

I think the point Matt is it's annoying and unproductive. If i hear people saying im worried all the injuries, its like ya we all are thanks captain obvious. But what is the point on harping on it, over and over and over. Its one game at a time. NFL fans always trying to predict the future.
