Praise the Lord, guitar. Some of the greatest words ever said. It's so simple, You Just Can't Beat Jesus Christ. When you hit rock bottom with no one to turn to, you may think all is lost, but it's not. Jesus is always open 24/7 to everyone, no one gets left behind when you climb aboard the Jesus train. I know it may sound corny but if it helps, then where's the problem? A good sailor will always tell you, any port in a storm. That means you do whatever you need to do so that you can keep keeping on. You make it thru life's storms any way you can so you can keep living. I would like for everyone to take a minute to stop and think about opioid abuse. It was what killed Eddy Shaver and it's still killing others today. These people are not the low life junkies that many think they are. They are regular everyday people. Eddy was a good God-fearing man who had so much talent. It's so sad he is gone; I can still remember the night I met him. Don't let what happen to Eddy happen to you or one of your friends, other loved ones. With all that shit coming out of Mexico today it is very easy to die. While it may look like a real oxycodone it's NOT. It's packed full of fentanyl and just one pill is enough to end it all for you. While some may question medical assisted treatment like methadone and suboxone they are at least safe and secure. They work and can keep you alive, out of jail, long enough for you to get your life back in order. Billy Joe would always say, Jesus loves you and so does Billy Joe Shaver. He was the real deal for sure. In my heart I just know that him, his wife, Brenda and their son Eddy is all together in heaven today. May the Shaver family RIP. Always know no matter who you are or what you may have done, Jesus loves you and so does Johnny Rocco!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless you for doing this lesson, it means so much to me.
