I feel depressed when I see she’s 47 and acts/looks like she’s 70. I can understand that women in her 70’s get inspired by her. But I’m shocked !! I’m 49 and don’t look like her at all …fortunately. 😄

@@mcross158 It’s not about her move but her attitude, her style, her mindset, the way she talks about mature women, her workout advice for mature women (it’s almost «Sit on a chair, turn your wrist in one way, then the other way, then take a break, you’re done for today»)…. It’s like she’s at the end of her life. That’s what I call «acting». Or behaving. I watched her video of 10 days ago about fitness. She talks about Jenifer Aniston who likes to sweat in fitness and Nikol says our body evolves with aging and she needs low impact workout and doesn’t want to kill herself with exercises, she talks about women needs during menopause and with incontinence issues…. Excuse me !!! That doesn’t sound very young ! There is no age to perform very well in any sport ! Some aged women practice bodybuilding ! And by the way, Jen Aniston is older than Nikol. It’s not about liking or not her classic and elegant style either. She DOES look gorgeous ! I’m saying her style and dress code DOES NOT match with her age. You can be elegant but modern. She looks like an old rich grandmother living in a chateau and owning a vineyard. Look at Sophie Marceau who is 56. She looks much more younger. When I read the comments under her videos, I can see many women are around 70 years old and are inspired by her. It’s like being 50 and being inspired by influencers of 25 years old. How can you recognize yourself in someone who is 25 years younger ! It’s not the same style ! But still, 70 year old women feel close to Nikol. There must be a reason.

@@mcross158 Oh my god, you are so sensitive and you take everything at the letter. The bodybuilding thing was an example. It could be any sport, dancing, running, gymnastic… But like you said, some people can hardly handle low impact exercise because of age. If Nikol cannot handle intensive sport any more because of age, am I allowed to feel shocked because I’m 2 years older and she makes me feel like 80 just by looking at her or is it forbidden ? Don’t worry, I don’t follow her. KZbin algorithm brought her to me and I watched a few videos. I thought it was a channel for senior women like Jane Fonda or something… until I found out she was younger than me. Am I allowed to comment or are you going to bite with saliva around your mouth ? I just find it sad to still be young under 50 (just 8 years ago she was in her 30s) and dress like a senior woman, like my grandmother would. Our youth will never come back over time and I think it’s precious to enjoy it while we still have it. We have the next 50 years ahead to get old. Our age is in our brain (mindset) and our body reacts in consequence.

I just turned 81! I love makeup! I have loved it all my life and I wear it everyday. When you start losing friends close to your age I am thankful I am still around in good health. People usually think I am in my 60’s but I think it is because I don’t act old. I work out 3 days a week and quilting is my hobby. I think it is true that after 40 the makeup industry doesn’t acknowledge you are there and it can be hard to find your way. I started watching “hot & flashy” and have found some great skin care that doesn’t cost a fortune but works. I think sometimes you have to put yourself first and that isn’t always easy. Thank you Nicole, for be authentic with us! There is no easy way to discuss infertility, but you know it changes us deeply. We had 8 years of it, then miscarriages and SIDS death of our only son. I am now living with daughters who have gone “no contact” which is a new hidden epidemic in our society. You said it so well…it wasn’t meant to be, but it was my life focus for 40 years and now….time for me🤷‍♀️

A wonderful nurse on utube is Hospice Nurse Julie. She explains to families the processes of dying which I myself found informative. Her tips of what to look for are things that doctors or other nurse should inform family members but do not. As you have said, dying is a part of life.

Thank you for sharing. I'm 56 y/o, retired pediatric dentist. I was 40 when we tried two rounds of IVF, sadly, it didn't happened. Like you said, it was not my path. I'm an only child. This is the year I started caring about myself again! One month into my weight loss, I discovered your videos! I've never used much make-up....I always felt like a clown wearing it.....probably too much and the wrong colors. Hi Nikol, I just discovered your channel and im loving your videos. I just turned 60 this year and feel i relate to you a lot. I also had two unsuccessful IVF experiences and went through the whole acceptance thing and thats ok and was widowed at 49. But 9 years later I remarried and live a truly blessed life. I got my diploma in graphic design, i do art at home and I just started a new job in senior medical administration and im half way through my nail technician course. Youre such an inspiration. I am starting now a new journey of growing out my colour and trying natural hair and heck, i might just grow out my fringe while im at it! Being curious about you too; thanks for taking time to answer these questions. I'll be 66 this year and just got through successful chemo tmt for non-hodgkin's lymphoma. Early on in TMT at mkt noticed ppl were looking at me, (I wear bandanas to cover head). At home looking in the mirror I could see why. No makeup on, just pale and sort of sick looking. After watching a short on your stylish clothing I was hooked, and w/your makeup tutorials, started making up my face again. How lovely of you to share a bit of yourself with all of us. I also have always enjoyed my time with older, wiser ladies. As a child, I was blessed with two great-grandmothers, two grandmothers, and several great-aunts. I always wanted to be grown up and stylish like they were. I would sit at the table with them and have my 'faux tea' or 'faux coffee' and listen to every word! I learned so much and even graduated to the adult table very young. Your very blessed to still have both your parents, I’m struggling at the moment having to put my Mum into a nursing home because of her failing health and dementia, how would you cope with something like that if it was one of your parents, I feel Lost and Heartbroken to see my Mum this way and I’m just waiting for the day that she doesn’t recognise me when I go and visit her every second day, at the moment I can’t even visit her because of the nursing home being shut down due to Covid and that’s breaking my heart because she wouldn’t understand Why I’m not visiting her, sometimes the ageing process Sucks and creeps up on those you Love without much warning, I’ve had to do everything on my own, getting her home ready for sale, making sure she’s well cared for, keeping her lawn looking nice while her home is on the market, she’s lived in the same home for 68 years, that’s 68 years of memories that I’ve had to go through every nook and corner finding precious memories that she’s kept over the years, I’m genuinely a healthy person but this has taken a lot out of me both mentally and physically, how do I get myself back from this and back to some kind of normal life, when I also have my husband relying on me with his own health issues due to his diabetes, he’s had his leg in a cast for almost 10 weeks now and has to keep it immobilised, so I’m doing everything for him as well….. I watch your videos and just Dream of a Life like you have, dressing up in all your beautiful gowns but no where to wear any of them, just like a little girl dreaming of dressing up like a Princess. Querida: La vida es realmente dura y la vejez con graves enfermedades no es fácil. Creo que lo vives en ti misma. Ahora padeces el Síndrome del Cuidador lo que te supone mucho estrés y no encuentra calma no sosiego. Por eso soñar con un ideal de vida y escapar de la propia es una opción. Otra es pedir ayuda, buscarla sacrificándo otras cosas. Hay cuestiones que no podrás hacer sola. Cuidar de tu madre con una demencia próxima, cuidar a tu marido con diabetes y cuidarte a tí misma. Todavía puede ser peor si enfermas. El cuerpo da señales y cuando no hacemos caso nos para en seco. Cuídate mucho. Espero que San Google traduzca mis palabras con mucho amor.

@@tmaffeo I Pray 🙏🏻 every night for something Good to come my way, I believe things happen for a reason, but I’m yet to know what that reason is just at the moment, nothing seems to be going right for us and we’re good people, always helping others in need but when it’s our turn, no one seems to care or just lend a helping hand or an ear to listen to, I’m absolutely exhausted from doing everything for my Mum and my husband while he’s got this condition with his foot called “CharCot Foot” you’ll need to Google it to know what it is….🙏🏻🙏🏻🇦🇺

@@-nellie-m3711 hi Nellie I just looked it up so sorry your going through this my brother-in-law has neuropathy in his legs and feet he’s only 66 and has been in hospital For 2 weeks for other ailments but thank God he’s doing better with pneumonia and blood clot in his lung Please continue to pray 🙏🏻 this too shall pass . I was 18 newly married and got pregnant when my mom passed she was 42 . I was 6 months preg I raised my sister she was 14 and my brothers raised 8 yr old brother . Thst was over 40 years ago then I had 2 brothers 51 anf 57 who passed away drug overdoses within 4 years from one another . I still continue to believe have faith hope and pray promise it will get better ❤️‍🩹🌻🌻🌻

It was interesting, and little sis you have inspired me to take better care of myself. I'm 45 and gave up on makeup as I've always reacted to the strong chemicals, and hate the heavy painted feeling, and feel fake, like I'm covering my imperfections rather than accepting and embracing them. Just saw a photo of you before you went gray. You were pretty then, of course, but you are even more beautiful now! Truly stunning! I’m 72 & let my hair go natural during the pandemic. It’s white, & I love it! Thanks for all you do for all of us who are “fiercely aging”! I garden, jog, go to yoga, cook, play with my 2 pugs, enjoy my grandkids & family, & love life! I thought my good years were over when I retired early at 62 bc my university where I taught closed, but I truly love my freedom at this great age!

Very classy, love it. As for hands. This is a hard one for me. I work on them every day, inside and out side. Yet, I work in the operating room and can not wear fake anything except polish on my nails. Polish doesn't stay on. I am constantly using alcohol and soaps, scrubbing my hands. I have recently started using color street. They stay on and absolutely beautiful. Yet after a month my nails break and I have to take a break. Maybe when I retire and stop the abuse my nails take, it will get better.
