Wow wow wow! Clean performance from all three! Incredible piano solo and ideas and I loved the incorporated Oscar Peterson lines near the latter half of the solo! Paying homage to a legend who perfected this song written by Clement Wells I believe what Oscar said his name was.

I met and listened to Peter Beets performance at the Main Street Brewery in West Manayunk, Pa. and Peter also performed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art the following evening. He is a marvelously talented pianist.

I think it's natural to compare with Oscar and others we've heard before. I do it too but I'm not disappointed with this group. I'm looking forward to seeing & hearing everything they choose to put on youtube. Delightful, truly delightful. And they really swing too.

for me its a meditation-like state to listen to music with all my focus and hear it witout comparison, so in no relation to any other thing. only the thing before me as what it is, (absolute realtive) so summing up, i think a trio this great deserves an absolute ear. btw im 22 years old and maybe Peter is one Oscar Peterson of today for me and i a few years i will compare everything to him xD
