Ortho feet have added to their lineup I’ve already bought three pairs. I’ve been wearing NB 1540’s in a 6E since shattering my heels, and being diagnosed with Diabetes. I finally got tired of hurting so I tried a couple of different brands until I found Orthofeet. They allow me to walk around ( with my forearm crutches) without much discomfort . Before I couldn’t walk around much without terrible pain, even with meditation. Sorry for your experience but mine was not so unpleasant as they have allowed me to walk around without feeling so much pain…

AGREED! I was, frankly, surprised and disappointed that OrthoFeet was not highlighted. GREAT SHOES! I worked for a podiatrist many many years ago who said Nike kept him in business with all the damage they do. They are notorious for low, tight toe box.

I don't see it mentioned but I had severe neuropathy to the degree it felt like a red hot spike was running through my foot! I started taking 500mg B1 + 100mg Magnesium/day, Methylcobalamine (B12 liquid), 200mg/day of Benfotiamine. The Benfotiamine is a synthetic Thiamine but what makes it work better is that it is fat soluable. As opposed to water soluable B1. Benfotiamine gets into the nerve sheath, which is fatty material and allows better uptake of Tiamine. I must say though, take all of these religiously! In 2 months, I was able to be neuropathy pain free!!! No more Gabapentin!!! Best wishes on your foot health.

I worked for a podiatrist years ago who loved Nike. He loved them because the shoes "Keep me in business" with all the harm they do. No matter what sacrifice I had to make, my son never work Nike. I'm now 77 yrs old, diabetic, and obese. I just LOVE OrthoFeet shoes.

The widest toe boxes are Altra and Topo Athletic. Both hiking shoes so they tic the boxes for being wide, breathable, quick drying with excellent traction. I also love Hoka's new hiking trail runners. I'm surprised socks weren't mentioned, either. Injinji socks are toe socks and are quick drying. Once on, you don't even notice them. Talk about letting your toes be free to move, these are great for easing restrictions caused by socks. 20+ years T2. I have tried them all 🤣

I like Jimgreen boots as they have a very wide toe box. My favorite insoles are the ones that rockrooster makes. I tried those orthofeet shoes they hurt my feet and caused major swelling, they were the worst shoes I have ever had in my opinion. I was in so much pain just getting up from the chair to go to the kitchen. I tried them for a week and then got ride of them. I tried dr comfort and they are great.

My podiatrist recommended Birkenstock for both outdoor as well as indoor; and I must say that these shoes and sandals have been very comforting. Please share your thoughts as I keep educating myself.
