I've found stretching and super hydrating, no coffee, no soda, no alcohol or recreational drugs, no red meat...... definitely helps. Need to pump more veggies in me haha. But I love what you do sir. Thank you.

The bodybuilder vs body part builder is such an important message. I've recently switched from regular exercises to more holistic training like sprinting, quadrupedal animal movements and old school methods from China and India. The body is indeed more than sum of its parts and that's unfortunately what modern conventional fitness didn't seem to understand.

@@turkeyleg5824 ension, Line up some investment income. Get a vet to use his VA home loan to buy a large, cheap old home in an area where there's a lot of demand for low cost housing, like around a big military base. Convert 1-2 big rooms into 2=6 small room and rent them out for say, $20 less (each) than the cheapest motel in the area (that rents by the week). Ditto air b and b of course. You have to be a hardass and get into it a bit at a time, letting the rent from the first few rooms pay for your next improvements on your first boarding house. A VA home loan has no PMI nor down payment, and it has very low closing costs. Attorneys will consult with you on this for free. Contract with the veteran to do this and later, after you learn who is what, he can become your live in tenant manager. Your local VA hospital has a long list of veterans who need jobs. He gets a free room and utilities in return for doing this.for you. You MIGHT have to make it LOOK like he's working for you for 6 months, to qualify him for the loan. BEWARE, a lot of vets are drunks/dopers! and nobody can be trusted with (much) of your money. Sign each tenant to a 'sober living' contract, which lets you enter their rooms once per day for a 5 minute inspection (at an agreed-upon time). No booze, dope, etc. I did this by living in an old minivan, on free food from the SA mission, a church, food stamps, staples from the Food Bank, saving my 12k per year of college loans. I cleaned up at the Planet Fitness 24-7 gym, $10 per month membership fiee. I got around on a bicycle and sold my plasma for $80 per week. Google for 'plasma center near me' and "cheap college near 'me" The college will give you 6k per year of Pell grant, which covers your tuition and fees. 1 year of college will make you an LPN, able to bank 25k in 6 months, if you'll travel, live in the van and work 6 days per week, 12 hours per day. Then you can draw 10k of unemployment the next 6 months.

I used to be able to do all these movements and i developed it after sustaining an ininjury, so i know the medicinal purposes it brings. Unfortunately i deconditioned and when i attempted these moves again there were not achieveable. Soo many limiting factors such as poor ankle-hip-torso mobility, etc, muscle imblances... everything, even worst than when I injured my back one time. But i had to swallow the pill and just start back from scratch, such if you cant run: walk, If you cant walk: crawl. Like literally if you're conditioning has become so poor build it back from the ground up. Being dynamically strong moving low feels very good

I was giving the push day muscles 2 days of rest, and the pull day muscles 2 days of rest. Works for me. Everyday has shown to shrink and weaken muscles if you do not rest them. But find what works for you.

If we must train the full body every day, what about our muscle recovery? Some top trainers say we should do different body exercises every day and give time to recover for a day or two.

@cnwil45947 ай бұрын
Good information, but the body will always need recovery time no matter the level of exertion of the body. Further, some advanced body movements will not work for some people due to their range of motion.
@rayres10747 ай бұрын
For as much as learning that flow does seem to be an exhilarating mobility routine, it seems intermediate at the very least (I can definitely see my shoulders blowing up on that bridge transition) and not exactly... scaleable in the sense of progressive overload. Like, how to do increase your strength and mobility after you've mastered the movement? Granted, to master this would take a good, good time already, but after that it seems to be just a mobility drill. Or perhaps that's the point? This is not a "full body workout" as much as a demonstration of what working your full body could look like, and the real "full body" training is something else? Anyway, it seems fun, and I love the idea of doing kung fu poses. When I get to the point those movements do not break my articulations I'll be sure to try do it, and maybe add some pauses to make the endurance aspect of it really kick in.
