As someone who loves tofu, especially silken or soft this always makes me a bit sad, I could eat it straight out of the package😂 but I know the greatness of silken tofu for non tofu lovers lies in it's variety of use

Tbh, I’m always intimidated by mushrooms because I come from a South Indian household and there are barely any mushroom dishes here… Also, sometimes I don’t like its raw taste… This video is encouraging me to try more mushroom dishes and even tofu for that matter…. Looks delicious 🤤… Also, I really love the energy you give in every video ❤❤❤

I think marinating and baking the mushrooms separately makes a big difference. I’ve had really tasty mushroom masala and others that just tasted like raw creminis in a tomato marinara, yuck ! I’m gonna have to make this one !

I feel like every time someone asks "can you taste the tofu" it proves they've never had it lmao- I have never been able to taste the tofu in tofu dishes even if it's a straight cube of it with some spices 💀

I can taste tofu on it's own but in dishes taste is so subtle you will likely miss it

For some reason, I can always taste tofu and any soy product in meals. I have never tried silken tofu, so I can't speak for that, but the regular tofu has a very strong presence for my tastebuds unfortunately.

Can u make ur childhood comfort dishes? I used to have 14-16 mini dosas which were soaked in fresh and hot sambar w/ cilantro chutney/tomato chutney Or coconut chutney. *Nostalgia is the best ingredient*

i LOVE silken tofu. i get the boxed kind and blend it in with a red pepper pasta sauce i make. (roast 2-3 bell peppers, 2-4 tomatoes, 1 head of garlic, 1-2 small onions, any other veggies on 425 for 40ish minutes and blend it!) protein in pasta sauce?? yes PLEASE. gonna try this recipe too, it sounds AWESOME

I want you to try make a vegan gochujang Risotto pasta (i made filling with shredded tofu and and gochujang and button mushroom) and the sause by (gochujang miched garlic and mirch powder, origano,rosemary, mushroom broth)❤

I learned the silken tofu trick on accident. I was watching a recipe video where someone used blended white beans to bulk up a tomato soup. And I didn't have white beans, but I'm like tofu is beans right? Worked like a charm.

You and rainbow plant life introduced me to silk and tofu uses as saw spaces and cream substitutes and just all kinds of fun ways to utilize it. last year was all about changing my relationship with firm tofu and this year's all about silken tofu 💜👏👏👏

I feel mushroom in itself is so full of protein. Plus was and cut the mushroom in the sun and it will soak in vitamin D. I always keep my mushroom for 30 minutes in the sun before cooking it

Honstlt i never thought of just dumping tofu for protein haha the only onr i can get is basically this super spft tofu (pro ably silken tofu) and is almost tasteless so i could just dump it in, maybe blend it if i had a blebder. I'm so jeloys of all those recipies with firm tofu, even my local asian stores don't sell it 😢

the protein thing is actually wild, though. you don’t need it at every meal in the sense of adding it specifically. 0.8g per kilo a day is enough, which is what, under 50g for you? the science doesn’t support having these bizarre fixations
