My interpretation is the woman is stuck in an extremely abusive relationship and is contemplating ending things, but she can choose to live, hence the lyrics. Her running the dude down can either symbolize overcoming whatever is holding her back or ending her abuser. At least that's my takeaway. The singer is telling someone who is contemplating ending things that even if it were to be that heaven is awaiting her, he hopes she chooses life.

I can't remember a moment where i did not cried listening to this song. I relate to this song like someone who as lost a big love and was submited to a big treason, by a boyfriend or some friend, i guess. She then entered in a some kind of depressive state, shackled by those felling she keept seeing what she feard the most and at some point she was able to confront it!. At the beggining she says she's fine with this, BUT there's nothing! she's fine with nothing! Just a void inside her and the depression it brings. In the end she tried to get rid of what tormented her and failed andshe cant stay fine with it!! And much possible, she ended her life, accepting she was not fine and the way to get better was death (the meteorite scene) and the end ''i'm fine with this'' With the premisse she actually wants the person who hurt her to move on with is life! The title of the song is quite literally the first letter of each word in the first line of lyrics in the song. "If This Is It If This Is All There Is I Hope You Live I Hope You Live" This is also the only song on the entire album with any lyrics at all. The rest are all instrumentals.

Great interpretation! My own is that the man in the video is her abusive ex-boyfriend. She was just living her life, enjoying the small things, represented by the orange. And the man cam in her life and made her feel like she had nothing of value, unless it's given by him. Eventually she tries to kill herself, either metaphorically or not; but ends up killing that part of him that she still carries within him, finally accepting that she is fine without him.
