I'm 28yo and hearing Spencer's takes is really sending me because I used to have that kind of fiery response towards bullshit but over the years I become so accepting of BS in attempt to be understanding and kind. But he reminds me that it's actually really helpful to have people who can help you articulate your frustrations rather than just immediately go into acceptance and forgiveness mode to maintain strong and healthy relationships.

Oh he was definitely exaggerating 🤣The material they are made of won't last that long. This is coming from someone who, when she was a broke college student, would wear every pair of contacts until they got so worn out they either warped and wouldn't stay on my eyes anymore, or they would just split in half while I was wearing them. I had a non-disposable pair that lasted maybe 2 years max... And that was taking them out once in a while to clean them 😅

I had twins and sometimes my husband had to sleep in another room so that he could get some sleep. Less because he woke up the babies and more because the babies woke him up. But it was so helpful.

My husband was like this husband in the story! He is entitled af. He would snore so loud and he slept through the babies crying every night. He would wake up and say "Oh wow, the baby slept really good last night!"...My reply... "What are you talking about??? I was up all night with the baby, but you slept through it all." Story 6: I LOVE my MIL. Honestly, she is the sweetest woman and I would do anything in reason for her. I would not let her in the delivery room. I gave birth almost 12 weeks ago. You are so vulnerable in that state, so you should have control of everyone in that room. I didn't even want people waiting in the hospital for me. I practice polyamory/ethical non monogamy and I have seen the first story happen so many times. Men will want to open the marriage and then get angry and often abusive when their wife is the only one getting dates. I have also seen many happy couples make it work. The intent and the attitude going into opening a marriage matters.
