Yes, i learned thY this year, biw i did a olaythrough where i did speed and drag races with clutch and that made evn some average acclerating cars like the nissan 240 sx and corolla gts to acclerate much smoother and better.

I reckon the clutch surges RPM and you basically got powershift without worrying abt real life gears damage - that or the game designed that way to reward sim drivers. Anyway I played on PC with controller and Prostreet is really one of a kind.

damn i shoul try my old save game with all my tuned cars and see if using clutch makes a difference!

It definitely does, unfortunately... I'm curious to see how much you can improve your time by tuning the cars as you want. In the Drag Race Tournament you'll see my best time achieved with all the performance upgrades set on default. I just installed them and skipped the part where you can change those slides. I'm sure you understand what I'm saying. Don't forget that I have all the available Stage 4 Parts installed too. I'll be happy to see your times mentioned in the comments on the Drag Race Tournament video that will be on the channel at the end of the week. 😁

@@NFIGamingZone i used to make old chargers for drag without usin nos and got 7.0 seconds and my pb was 6.59 on the quarter mile so im gonna test with clutch

what does clutch even do there is no useful info on google and the game doesn't explain it either

Well, I didn't knew that it will have this effect either, but someone in the comments said about this improvement and I had to test it. :)
