I’ve really cut down the feed this year …..results have been good (pleasure angling). This vid supports that approach and shows I can cut back further. Well done boys & thnx for sharing.

I fish a venue were skimmers in the 1-2lb range are needed and there are loads of the size in the video but there are also lots of roach from 1oz upwards. Think I'll have to try and see whether the roach become a problem.

i done a bit of an experiments the 1st 2 shots closes to hook length i bulk them up so it weighted bottom end then the rest as normal strung out then again the last 2 top are bulked for stability and u no what its wired but it worked much to my surprise the reason for the 2 shot bulk at the bottom is u can c much much more of lift bites and indications

Afternoon Gents - brill video as always and blows my mind with just how much little feed you use. I live in Scunthorpe and fish messingham sands and Messingham grange park where the stocking levels is insane. Would this approach work for highly stocked venues that are stuffed with crucians, goldfish, brown goldfish, f1s and small carp?
@WinningWays2 жыл бұрын
It works best when there are a lot of small skimmers. But generally as it’s quite faffy you are limited how fast you can go. Normally you peak at about 40lb, so with Messingham being 100lb to win in some cases you’ll probably need to be a bit more positive.
@andrewthornton2302 жыл бұрын
Would this method work ok in 6 to 7 ft of water? If so what float would be best choice?
@WinningWays2 жыл бұрын
That’s about the maximum you’d want to fish it in, 4x16 should be fine 👍🏻

Could you use this approach in deep water ? (7ft)
@WinningWays2 жыл бұрын
7-8ft would probably be about the max, any deeper would need to be a bit more positive.

Was that a 16 or 18 on the 2mm expander? Personally feel a 16 is a little big for a 2mm?
@WinningWays2 жыл бұрын
Depends on the hook pattern, some 16s will be fine some will be massive. So if you're happier with an 18 in the pattern you use and not having any issues then no need to change.
@leegill97672 жыл бұрын
Would this work were there's lots of f1 an carp because I'm thinking of doing the winter league on my season lake ??? An wot ground bait is it ... Just crushed expander
@WinningWays2 жыл бұрын
You tend to find it avoids carp and F1s better than feeding bigger quantities of bait. If you do hook one generally it’s just a single fish and you’re back to catching skimmers. And yes Sonu Supercrush Expander
