Yeah, I can relate, but I never thought I'm lazy, just thought that there's something wrong I feel like I have lots of things to do, which I do, know I have to do them, but like I really don't want to do them even if they're the last thing I do. When the end of the day comes I'm upset with myself that another day went by without having done anything. I end up working very hectically and it's tiring, because I can never really structure a reliable working schedule. I can be like "okay tomorrow I'll do this, this and this" yet by tomorrow nothing's finished, it's a big deal if one's even started at all It's so disorienting

i really love the idea of this sort of online non-personal therapy. The biggest issue with therapy is that some people (alot including me lol) are scared and/or nervous to talk to people directly about issues. this channel completely fixes that. it cant give exact support but it definitely can give help in a way that you cant get in many other ways. the only issue would be that, because you cant adress with people directly about an issue, you kinda have to make a video for every issue. But the team behind this channel is doing just that! I massively respect the detacation and hope what im saying makes sense :)

When it comes to over analysis, I've personally found it beneficial to ensure your analysis is productive. It's easiest if you Limit it to that subject and then plot the data Not productive "oh my god I've got so much work to do." Productive "Okay I have 5 major projects that need to be completed by (deadlines). they're going to take approximately (expected work). Of course (projects importance) which means I should dedicate more time to these projects. I'll just plug this data into a few graphs in a spreadsheet and do them in logical order." This helps but it is by no means a silver bullet.

Try to find the root cause is it depression or maybe something that happened in life. Then find a way to talk or seek help from a professional. When doing something you can add things you enjoy like a podcast or favorite song then you can break down the task. For example if you have to clean a space break it down have some coffee or something to treat yourself while doing i also recommend dark chocolate it works well for a dopamine boost and for energy then eg while cleaning a room gather any mess and throw it away then reward yourself for 10 or 15 minutes time. Then wash any sheets or wipe and polish anything rest then do for example vacuuming. This way your rewarding yourself and not making yourself overly tired by breaking the task into 3 or 4 steps depending on the task. Remember its OK to feel unmotivated it happens to many people you're not alone!

I feel terrible saying I'm thankful for the pandemic, but the rise of being able to work from home has been such a gift for me. I have PTSD from some bad childhood trauma, and while it's as managed as it can be my physiological alert systems are going to be in overdrive effectively for the rest of my life. Working in an office environment was just hell, my head snapped around like a prey animal everytime someone coughed or dropped a pen. Being able to work from home in a space where I can control all the sound and movement and light level has not only made work so much more comfortable, but made me so much more productive, and I actually feel like I have a chance to excel in my career now that half of my brain energy isn't being spent protecting me from the tigers in the next cubicle over.

It happens a lot, but the (not so) fun part is that I have no time to even breathe. I get up at 5:30, start working at 7:00, go to university at 16:00, and then get back home at 21:30, having to do way too many things before bed. I don't enjoy my life even a little bit, but I can't complain. I can eat, sleep in a comfy bed, and I kinda enjoy what I'm studying. Sometimes, I choose to overwork in my free time, but only because I enjoy it. The only thing I miss a little is my social life. I have none right now. Zero friends, literally. Maybe that's why I'm feeling so down lately.

I've been experiencing this a lot. If I stay awake for too long, even if I just have downtime at home, I feel tired and take a 5 hour nap. The only time I can stay awake for longer periods of time is if I'm locked in at work and there's no option to hang back and nap. This is sort of eating into my free time, and I am not sure what to think about that. Yes, rest is good after a long hard day at work, but I find it to be a bit excessive nowadays when I don't really need it but I just got done playing a game for about an hour and my brain is exhausted.

I've been overstimulated since the beginning of the school year, and we're almost done with it. I've decided to wind down in easy ways, such as sleeping early, not replying to socials at night, and js take a calmer approach on everything. I've been unexplainably tired and I've been experiencing tons of anxiety. I used to have social anxiety and GFD (General fear disorder) and after I finally got friends and builded up my life I thought it just left. But it's been sucking my energy for too long now so I think it's time to let go!

@@jxliaalove Thank youu Today I feel actually good, since the school year has already ended in our school. I just feel like if now I have a lot more freedom(, which is true). And I'm quite motivated not to waste another summer holidays. I'm currently calm and at peace. What about you? Really hoping youre getting better, but if not, no problem at all. You can write about it here if you would

I haven't even watched the video, but I smirked at the title as soon as I saw it, like it's directed towards me. I've been getting more convinced that many of my habits have turned me into someone who won't even bother himself to do anything that doesn't pay off immediately. I need to change that badly.

It can also be down to physical ill health. I have obstructive sleep apnoea and spend much of my daytime in a sleepy trance. I feel overwhelmed with tasks and indecision about which to tackle first. I find mundane tasks so boring that I can’t focus and get easily distracted. I either sleep-walk or have blackouts because I keep losing a vital health device and have found it in my waste bin! I want to stop procrastinating and use my time productively!

Neat. I'm just lazy though. It's part of who I am and am completely fine with it. In fact, the best discoveries come out of laziness. For what is more lazy finding a way to do your job with minimum effort while keeping productivity. Like when I discovered that there's no need to warm up tin hotdogs in a saucepan on the hob. Just pour boiled water from the kettle into the tin, wait a bit for them to warm up and eat straight from the tin. Now you can eat your hotdogs with no need to worry about cleaning up afterwards

To be honest, I always thought something was getting in my way of doing work at home, but I never quite knew what it was. As I would get tons of work done at school just for me to go home and crash onto my bed and get no work done afterwards. because of that, I would beat myself up about it every single night. (I have severe ADHD so I normally take medicine for school) But now, I know that all I really need was a change in scenery, Thank you.

Lol I have 3 of these conditions... and I haven't been able to make myself move all day. Spent all day with family yesterday, and though it was nice, I completely shut down the moment I was able to leave. Today.. just ended up staring at the wall, watching the same show I've had on repeat all week😅

Since starting work a few months ago I've found myself becoming a lot more lazy and I'm trying to find a way of fixing it. Basically I've got a few big projects I want to work on right now including writing a short book, working on a small indie game and hosting my first proper DnD campaign. Every night I get home after work too tired to do anything and I feel lazy when I avoid doing something on these projects. This video has been very helpful in letting me understand why I've become so sloppy recently, I do think with how many big things I've got on the go at once it makes sense that I am overstimulated (Especially considering like in the video I have autism). Perhaps I should start going to a coffee shop or something to write more rather than just sitting in my room to work on it?

Autistic burnout absolutely is awful. Ive just found out that Im on the spectrum, and everything in life has made sense now. This combined with PTSD constantly has my body in fight or flight. I can only rest when im sleeping and im just ranting now bc damn i dont know what to do. Work has been really hard, and its difficult to find motivation to enjoy my hobbies. Its like my brain and body just want to shut off for a month
