Didn't the referee used to call 100 at the end of opponents 3 dart visits vs Taylor more than the 3 dart visit where the referre called less than 100 vs Taylor. It was always more common for a player to hit 100 or more than hitting less than 100 was. Difference today is that today's players look at failing to sustain 100+ scores a lot more and also failing to hit big 100+ finishes and high doubles hit percentage as a big disappointment.

Mardle is pathetic!! Was an average darts player and now sits in the commentary box ruining a good match with his irritating style....right down to thinking that shouting 'bullseye' when a player is after it, gives him some sort of darts commentator iconic status! Not fit to lace Sid Waddell's boots!! As for the question, whether you like Phil or not, it was ridiculous..but what you'd expect from someone who craves attention and loves the sound of his own voice

I have more respect for the "Northern" way of speaking that Phil Taylor uses. The guy B1ing questioning, he does not pause and you can tell the lack of the pause to assess the other person's statement is a massive failure of communication. He's literally sunk cost fallacy in what he originally said.
