Personally, I don’t agree with recalling here. In the given state Shen has 250hp, he can pop his health potion and start slow pushing the wave. You build a big wave so the enemy can’t all in you (level advantage + minion damage). Then you either crash the wave alone or ask for jungler to come crash it with you. The topic of the video is very important but I think there are more options available than presented.

Yeah agreed, I forced the topic a bit hard here because before the session he made it clear this was a really recurring issue he has. We also talked about how an option is staying if you can stay with the HP you're on to crash afterwards. I tried to make it a general concept he can apply to worse situations.

@@EragonUK i'd pop my pot and slowpush, irelia's lvl 1 is insanely bad (assuming 0 stacks) so she cant fight you anyway. also minions will deal tons of dmg. i'd also ping my jungler to hover topside. but i do agree that this situation is not very common.

If i have TP i still just recall, TP back to lane and try to fix the lane afterwards, right?

Yep! You also have the luxury of staying if you need more gold, recalling then TPing back, that has a risk of your recall being cancelled when they TP back and missing a bit of cs, but yeah most of the time you just recall and TP back
