Large pal souls can be gotten from the Snowy mountain biome in chests and elite base raiders. Anubis and Necromus can drop them too. Blazamut is one hell of a miner.

You should capture beakon which gives the drops , so one chance at the handgun bp , then, the big brain play , butcher it at base , that will also have a chance at giving the bp . The chance IS indeed 3% so 2 chances/hour is 2x better but still low (i say after getting the pump shotgun 3x in a row from suzaku XD) Best way to get large souls is to get chests in the north island , both the ones in the grassy area and the snow drop them .

I find it doesn't work very well. It doesn't work at all on your mount but it also feeds so slowly that they are quite low on food even if they don't get to "hungry" status.

If I am wrong I will be very annoyed because my Major is in Classical Studies--which I only got because my Advisor was worried that I would fail the last class needed for an Environmental Studies Major my last semester and I already had all the requirements except for one. Love History and Mythology so I was interested in all the classes that was needed for it, including Latin which I was told by my professor that I could teach with how well I did in it. Rant beyond this point so you can skip if you want. Just more elaboration on getting my Major (Environmental Studies turned into a Minor even though I passed that class). The last class I needed, my final paper (only supposed to be about 10 pages) had almost 30 (with Work Cited it was) and was titled 'Supernatural: The Soul' which was just the implementation of Human action into characters with and without a Soul in Supernatural. Just the draft as I don't know where my final one was. It got a C only because there was not enough mythology. I thought there was something about the soul in one of my Classical Mythology classes but I could only find Christian, Baptist, or other religions about it. I was frustrated trying to find the sources I thought there was on it. And people keep saying in comments that I don't know anything about Supernatural when just seeing a few seconds of an episode she's watching I can tell my mom what Season it's from and what the plot of it is (same with Criminal Minds before season 11). I cannot tell you how many times I watched it (so long as it's before Dean and Sam no longer get along with their mom, I disliked the series at that point and am glad I stopped because I love Castiel).

There's a lvl 44 Menasting boss fight in the lower section of the desert (right where the large black spot on your map is) and a lvl 47 (I think) Donossum Lux in the northern mountain area of the desert (where a black spot is as well). Just so you know, if you're looking for more boss fights.

Sealed Realm of the guardian "Vaelet" there is a mountain/hill nearby this boss with lots of coal and ore on its top. Makes an amazing mining base.

If you want to farm Anubis, which you will because it's easy xp and the drops are decent, Verdash (the grass guy you don't really vibe with) is REALLY good for it because it's a grass type, which is super effective against earth. If you absolutely hate Verdash, obviously any grass type has this advantage. What Verdash does that's especially amazing is imbue all of your attacks with grass damage, making every shot YOU take against Anubis super effective too. You can catch the boss Verdash at level 35 and it'll be ready to help you with Anubis by level 40, and will start dealing with Anubis for you reliably from 45 upwards so you can just throw it out and save ammo on your farming runs (I've found the rate you burn through ammo using it to farm the daily bosses to be a big bottleneck, and have started just letting my Pals do it for free).

The best place to get an abundance of large souls is the level 45 ice caves and big snow area. The yellow chests almost always give exactly 1 large soul each and they're pretty easy to find.

Gold chest in big snow area for farming large souls. Purple chest have gold amid spheres. Red chest (require a key) have uncommon, rare, and legendary blueprints. The large snow caves have a a change to having the best blueprints in the game!
