@julienfroidevaux1143 statins block what the body needs to make cholesterol. In addition, getting additional cholesterol from animal fats is only beneficial. It's directly linked with reducing heart disease and neurological disorders. Hell, the blockage I had in my carotid cleared over the course of a year after I dropped the fruits and veggies. Cholesterol transports what you need around the body. It's a large part of why my arteries healed, thus reducing my blockage(which is scarring of the artery) to the point where it is free and clear in imaging. As a 64-year-old, I have an average resting pulse of 55, an average blood pressure of 116/72 and I feel fit and healthy, which is helped by swimming 3 times a week and gym twice a week. On my latest blood test, my Cholesterol level (UK - NHS measurement) was 6.3 (Should be 4.5 - 5.0) and I was told by my doctor that that was a high level and I should try Statins. Listening to this KZbin video slightly shocked me as I believed, like many, that my diet wasn't great. Luckily, I have an aversion to using drugs for anything, and I refused my doctor's suggestion and asked about natural ways to lower it. Can you guess what he told me? Yes, eat all the healthy things like high-protein and vitamin-rich foodstuffs and completely cut out carbs, fats etc... He never mentioned sugar or glucose, fructose! I'm so glad I saw this and now have a better understanding of what I actually should eat. Would still like to see Dr Anthony's diet suggestion though.

Doc, You are a true "prophet" of the real TRUTH! Just like the prophets in the Bible, nobody wanted to hear the truth , and they had great contention and anger against them! You keep telling the truth, and the Lord will protect you and destroy your enemies ! TRUTH always prevails and the wicked always destroy themselves! God bless pal!! 🇺🇸✝️🇺🇸

Be very careful with human worship as the good book says " Do not put your trust in prince's and nobles put your trust in God ? Humans are weak, ever changing ! Fickle ! Praise what they tell you if it's good for you ? But fawning over the human is sickening

Dr Chaffee - what if a Lipoprotein(a) test results a high score? I had that test and my score was very high. I tried Carnivore for 2 months and all my cholesterol numbers went up; which I knew they would. I've never had a Lipoprotein(a) test done before, so I don't know if it was high before carnivore. For many years I ate the Standard American Diet, along with all the snacks and treats. My PCP never ran that test. I switched to a whole foods plant-based in 2017 (for 7 years) to try and address some autoimmune issues. Then this year, for Feb and March, I tried carnivore. Frustrated that my PCP was not addressing my autoimmune issues, I sought out a holistic physician. She was the one that ran a BOKU amount of tests, including the Lipoprotein(a) test. I will be seeing her in two weeks to go over my results. Just wondered what your thoughts were about a high Lipoprotein(a) score.

So I've been on the carnivore diet for 2 months. My blood test last week showed high LDL. Everything else was great. My question is this: What happens when someday I go to renew my life insurance policy? Will they list me as higher risk for heart disease because my LDL is high? My next question is: May I have links to the studies you mentioned throughout this video. Thank you.

Hello, I saw your video on the carnivore diet. I wonder how you obtain essential minerals and vitamins without vegetables or fruit? I'm French and I'm not sure I understood everything. thanks
@BM-78887 ай бұрын
All the essential nutrients are found in animal foods. Plant foods have harmful properties. Just try eating any kind of meat with no vegetables for several months. You will see great results. Just try it. Watch more videos on carnivore diet and you’ll be convinced.

Hi, I’ve been carnivore for about a year. Mainly red meat. I feel great lost weight, I exercise every day. Had to do my annual blood test, and my doctor wasn’t happy at all she said my LDL was 5, and wants to put me on statins. She claims I’m high risk for heart disease, because of my age 52 She really scared me, should I be worried?

What is the best way to reduce triglycerides without meds?
@anthonychaffeemd10 ай бұрын
Diet and lifestyle. Remove carbs, seed oils, sugar, alcohol, reduce stress, improve sleep, increase meat and animal fats, anaerobic exercise such as resistance training and sprinting. The above is a recipe for a good, long, and healthy life.
@valgrex9648 ай бұрын
That's what my nutritionist has me doing: severely restricting all sugar, pasta, grains, seed oils, alcohol, and adding in omega 3, homosystene select and boron daily. I usually start "cheating" with a serving here and there of the carbs.....that's so hard. But, this has been ongoing for 10 years and I will never take statins. As a psychotherapist who works with an older population and having buried parents of my own from the "geriatric cocktail" of blood pressure meds, diabetes and cholesterol meds, I knew that I would not go down that path to maintain my wellness. It's a journey, but with tweaking here and there I'm doing well. It's just hard getting that one number down (triglycerides). I'm 58 and have intentions to live another 30-40 years. @@anthonychaffeemd

In my recent blood test, my total cholesterol is 12.27 mmol/L and LDL 9.2 mmol/L which is considered high. My triglycerides are normal, 0.77 mmol/L, Cholesterol/HDL Ratio also normal, 4.51 and my HDL 2.72 mmol/L. According to my doctor, I am at risk of a heart attack and I should start taking medication. Any thoughts? Carnivore diet since the last 5 months and love it.
