The Ents march to war! All mortals gangster until the whole forest starts moving! Facing off against Wulfrik, Elspeth, Ungrim, and the Sisters of Twilight is amazing regardless of it not being organic.

One of those is not like the other... I can believe the rest working together, but no norscan, especially Wulfrik, would aid the ordertide. Nor would them accept his aid. With that said, cool scenario, to be sure. Wulfrik brought the melee/monster rush, making the armies more balanced overall.

I'm also totally fine with teleporting different enemy armies for testing purposes. After last time when someone did that, I was constantly hoping more people would do that. Different factions means higher chances of covering weakness that a single faction might have, while providing more variety which can expose a weakness in the army being tested. It also means all armies will come at the same time. If an army is successful in a situation that will never normally happen, then it shouldn't fail in any situation that can normally happen.

The thing I like about the doom swarm vs doom stack is the variability of the builds sent in. for instance a stack of these wouldn't make a good doom stack but make a surprisingly good swarm.

Treekin stacks with few Treemen are the basic stack I make with woodelves, in a blob, it's tanky af, and fares well against most armies. And ofc you don't need to care that much if you lose one, easy to build again.

i've beat every lord on legendary mostly total war, and tree kin stacks with a few branchwraiths are in my opinion the best stacks in the game. Armor piercing, immune to most spells, ward save, auras, heals, easily replaced. They pretty much crush every thing in the game.

Today I had to fight an endgame army of treekin with a missile resistance of 100% (90% de facto). I had to bring in Slayers in order to defeat and reclaim the lost land. The first army was missile based and it didn't do anything obviously, even though I had lots of crank gunners (from a mod, basically ratling guns).

If it's one thing these videos have really driven home to me, it's that I miss the combat animation from the older games. There's so much confusion and chaos in these videos, you can't even make out what the hell is happening. It's like a Transformer movie - so much going on, it all blends together into a mess. The graphics are obviously superior here, but what difference does that make when you can't tell what the hell is happening?
