Can't wait! Normally I'm gaming myself by then but I may have to pop in and postpone my own gaming to ask a few questions such as hey Bo do you know when the ocean update is coming? Lol I know from another channel that KZbinr had mentioned that the developers of Fishing Planet were also making a Train Planet game and he had thought maybe that was the reason FP was getting delayed but the developers reached out to him and told him they have their own development team working on that game so sounds like the makers of FP are getting bigger which should hopefully be a good thing! Maybe they will be able to hire more people to work on both games when Train Planet takes off and they have a revenue stream coming in from both games! A regular update with new maps would be amazing!

We and I mean all of us FishingPlanet players and players of all the other Fishing games/simulations out now should petition/request whom ever we think could manufacture a decent Fishing Controller to make a controller like we got with SEGA's Bass Fishing game back in 1998-99 if anybody else remembers that, that controller that came with the game worked reel good (pun intended) but with the scant fishing games in the last 25 years I see why we don't have one, but there are ALLOT of fishing games and non fishing games now that have fishing in them even some stupid games that have fishing and I cannot figure why cause the games suk but the fishing parts are fun, Also, anyway hey Bo please switch comments from "top" to "newest" there is a whole issue with content providers like us allowing it to remain at the "top" setting instead of setting it to the "newest" setting, top favors KZbin and not your viewers, newest favors your followers/subscribers and I'm sure you care more about your subs than giving others who just post allot the top of comments list all the time, while most posters/commenters go to the bottom of your comments list not really getting read by anybody, this post will go to the bottom for everybody except me and I'm tired of my comments not being seen because YT feels that giving a few the top spot all the time because of this setting while the majority go to the bottom which seems unfair and biased dont you agree?.

Problem is even if people wanted to ask sometimes you get genuinely grouchy when people ask questions. Your content is great but sometimes your answers are very short tempered if you choose to answer at all so it kind of keeps people from asking

Yeah, that's the point, the entire beginning was sarcastic - I literally shut off all notifications for the past few weeks because I literally couldn't mentally take being asked the SAME QUESTIONS FOR MONTHS, I was being driven insane. And was being a grouch. So I stopped reading comments.

It's something that confused me. They have a starting map in Europe and a starting map in the USA. Why did they not have a low level brackish water map? Why did they go straight to you need to he max level to do salt water even the shore and Sholes small fish. I understand the idea of massive fish off shore need high level. But a low level would be nice. I would also had like to see fly fishing at low and mid level for fun.

@@handy-capoutdoors4063 yep! Would be cool. But you have to consider a few factors. For one- there’s loads of people at the end of the game wanting something new to do. If you put yourself in the shoes of the dev team, you’re at risk of losing your top fans of your game… because they just don’t have anywhere else to go. So you need to continually add more destinations at the end of the funnel, so you don’t lose your top fans. At the same time, you’ve already got a funnel in place for getting people there… so why pay for something you don’t need? If I told you, “so it’s looking great, your car is running fine, you’re street legal and everything - however, for $10,000 I can add new rims to your wheels, but at the same time, the added drag will decrease your mile per gallon… would you do it? In other words, Would you pay for the development of a new location you don’t need… if that same time could have been spent making something that kept your long time fans playing the game? Time allocation and money, it all goes into it. It’s a free game, they need to make money on premium and DLCs to stay in business, and no one is going to pay for a dlc to go to a level 18 brackish water map when they can get there so easily by farming emerald lake for one day.

I understand where you are coming from. In business there is a delicate balance of keeping loyal customers and bringing in new customers. I personally restarted my account about level 60 just to have the challenge again. It would be intriguing to see a "new game plus" of sorts that scales the challenge of low level lakes. That’s not true. The people who have said that assumed it, when the company created another team to tackle that game.

@@BoAngles they do have two dev teams, one for FP, the other for TP. I also messaged them thanks to Soopa Dave. New mechanics in the game that are currently not available is one big reason for the delay. If this isn’t true then I was lied to by the company itself. I apologize for any confusion.
