You have a point. But contradicts your many other videos. Big companies hold cash as a percentage. As human beings don’t we hold cash for a rainy day ? Assets are for growth and liquid cash is for survival. Anyways, my recommendation is to use data in your videos instead of random screenshots about news. Data, hypothesis, strategy recommendation. Then you will have more viewers. Otherwise it seems like any other fear mongering video which people are bored with, already!

My largest expense each month is my home loan which is not increased by inflation. A lot of people have a car loan as most likely their 3rd highest expense each month that is not increased with inflation. A good chunk of monthly expenses for the average person is not increased as a result of inflation. I've never heard anyone talk about this when the cash is trash is brought up as someone with a large chunk of savings can offset inflation on everything else with money market yields, Cash secured puts, covered calls, dividends, or even some small % in CDs over 5%+.

No one talks about inflation not touching a locked in mortgage below 3%, and a lot of people have this, and is why so many people are not moving now, there are millions of people like this that are average as you say. Eventually car loan rates increase? I'll pay cash for a used car, and pull this primarily from my compound interest tree which as stated will offset inflation as long as we are not 9%+ in the future. Large chunk of cash is trash is keeping up with inflation and then some currently.
