Great advice. There are so many variables that dictate why the clubface could be left open. If there's enough lower body turn through impact a common cause is a grip that's too weak. Someone who struggles with pull hooks might have the opposite problem. A swing analysis really helps to diagnose what's actually taking place.

Just give it a few weeks and you will be ready for more tips lol. They give all this away because they know it's not enough. To get really good at this game requires some time with a coach who can help you with YOUR swing faults.

Yes, if you return the shaft to vertical at impact. Leaning the shaft forward has the effect of opening the face, so when you do both (twist and lean) you can return the club to impact with a square(ish) face.

Think of it is “squaring” the face. So relative to where most people are the move is a closing of the face. But it’s not really closed, it’s closing it to square
