I'm definitely getting the switch lite. I had ps vita before. Sold it because it had no games and sony stopped supporting it. The switch already has a ton more games than the vita did. Plus it doesn't have those stupid expensive propriety memory cards like the vita had. That was another reason why the vita failed.

Yes a pocket test where the stick will be crammed to one side and let dust and crap in your pocket get into the sticks causing drift that you can fix by buying a new pair of joycons.....oh wait you can't. Drift on this device would mean you would have to take it apart to try and fix it. People don't realize this and need to understand it. Right now the regular switch is the best bet because at least you can replace the joycons, and don't have to replace the whole system for the same issue.

I'm so excited for mine to come in the mail today! I wanted to use the Switch mainly as a portable system but as someone with smaller hands, I thought the original console was a bit big for me to want to easily carry around, so I hadn't really been using it since I don't like playing on the TV as much. My regular Switch would be great for TV play on occasion but now I have an incentive to playing the Switch as a handheld lol The Vita was the perfect size for me so I'm glad it's very comparable

I've bought it and it's the best thing I've done. It's lightweight and so nice! Yes you can't connect it to the TV but that doesn't bother me. If you've wanted a switch but think the regular one is "to much hassle" then this is what you're looking for. I love mine!

I'm picking up the Switch Lite because I don't see myself docking the system when I can play games released on it on the go. Besides, it's a cheaper alternative. It really looks like a proper handheld system PS Vita could only wish it was. I like the Vita design wise, moreso than the PSP, but I only used it as a Persona machine and the lack of games library kind of made me rethink my purchase. The comfort of a console experience on the go seems like a futile effort when craptons of AAA games and Vita ports run at a sub-30 framerate. Tearaway and Gravity Rush are great games, but you can already play them on PS4 with better framerate. I enjoyed Uncharted Golden Abyss and Persona 4 Golden is amazing, but that's basically all there is for me. With the Switch, at least I can say that I'm guaranteed with a variety of games library on the get-go. Vita seemed like a missed opportunity where Sony didn't know how to market that thing properly.

So I have a question, I had factory reset and sold my old Switch and recently ordered the Switch Lite. Will there be any problems using my old Nintendo Account I had used on my original Switch with the Switch Lite? I wouldn’t have to create a whole separate email to make a second Nintendo Account.

If you correctly unregistered the switch (a factory reset should've done that) then there will be no problem. Just check the Switch Eshop to see if ur device is set as the primary. If it IS NOT, contact Nintendo's Customer Support. They can reset this.

I wonder how much more impactful it would of been if animal crossing still was the game to launch the lite. For those of you that dont understand the color choices. Turquoise and Yellow were chosen because of Animal Crossing was supposed to be the game to launch the Switch lite. The turqoise for Cyrus and Yellow for Isabelle. Fortunatly the yellow still works for Link's hair but Crossing was the reason for the color choices.

@@Drew-cg7bv No was for crossing. Crossing was supposed to launch lite but wasnt ready. Nintendo already had the colors submitted for manufacturing. Zelda was supposed to be the march 2020 game not Crossing. The plan was for Crossing and Pokemon to push the Switch family of systems past 50 million units.
