If you are a bodybuilding lover, it is important to watch this video. During more than 20 years practicing bodybuilding, I learned many things, some of which I deeply regret and that I will now have to carry with me for the rest of my life. This video aims to share my experiences with you, so that you can avoid the same consequences that I have.
One of the big lessons I've learned is that you shouldn't carry too much weight. In the past, I believed that lifting extremely heavy weights was the way to build muscle. But over time, this put too much strain on my joints, which resulted in chronic knee, shoulder, and elbow pain. Today, I train more consciously, putting on proper weights to exercise my muscles and avoiding heavy weights that could harm my joints.
Another mistake I made in the past was not paying as much attention to the quality of the moves. Doing exercises incorrectly can cause great muscle and joint demands. It's important to pay attention to correct movement and not just focus on lifting heavy weights. Today, with improved technique, I lift less weight, but much more intelligently.
Finally, not paying enough attention to stretching was also a mistake I made in the past. When you don't have enough mobility in one joint, you end up borrowing mobility from other joints, which can overload them and cause chronic pain. Stretching the body before and after training is essential to ensure that the movements are as smooth as possible.
