This reminds me of the first time I went down an actual ski run. I have come late to skiing, starting in my 50s, and when the world's most patient instructor took me off the bunny hill and onto the easiest green on the mountain, I clung to him, screaming, and side slipped down pretty much the whole way. (I have made progress since then; that poor man was not getting paid enough to teach my uncoordinated arse to ski.)

On empty slopes really enjoying carving a turn until you literally skiing slightly up the slope, back into another turn and you have burnt off a lot of speed.

@@skicoachingonline How I was taught, Part 1, turn your skis down hill, Part 2, turn your skis up hill to bleed off speed. Control comes at the end of your turn.

Yes, frustratingly it was very windy. That’s the best I could get. I’ll get it sorted better next time. Thanks 🙏🏻

I was thinking how amazing it is that you're going down a steep ski slope, holding a selfie stick with a camera and instructing at the same time and how difficult that is in itself.

@frogmarch1000 I’m slowly getting used to it. But yes the longer videos I can definitely feel my arm getting sore 😂
