When my relatives from Italy arrived in America for the very first time, I asked them what is the 1st thing on their list they really want to see? They said they wanted to walk over the Brooklyn Bridge. I never did that myself! Well, I will tell you, it was the best thing I ever did and we all loved it!! The High Line is also a pretty cool place for them to visit. It gives you a whole different perspective of NYC, since you are about 20 - 30 ft. above ground and walk through different neighborhoods. Enjoy!

Absolutely love these videos you guys are kind enough to share with us. Your cooking videos...experiences....getting the house the way you want it...makes me feel like I'm part of the family. I'm married to an Italian (born in Tirano) and seeing you with your Nonna in the other videos, is especially lovely to watch. My hubby's Mum, "Nonna" taught me everything I know about Italian cooking. Um...Laura...don't yell at me but I hate mangoes. My daughter recently moved to Broome (Western Australia) and the streets are lined with mango trees, literally. I had never seen so many mangoes in one place before and there they were, just begging to be picked. You have to be very careful whilst picking the mangoes from the trees as some people have allergic reactions to mango sap and it can create a rash that is very itchy....bit of trivia there for you. Joe...had to smile when you were talking about Laura and the 'stone' inside the fruit....gosh, everyone knows the term 'stone fruit', well done Laura! No matter what you say or do, there are always going to be the ninnies that have something negative or derogative to say...just ignore them. You can't please everyone and more importantly, you should remember....you don't have to :) Love and God Bless to you both.

So if I find 10000 youtubers doing the recipe is better for me, I get to chose which one I watch, so of course I always pick yours! Oh my gosh. I have a restaurant story like that. It was late night at a diner outside of Seattle, knowing I had a long drive home to Portland - I needed caffeine, so I asked for a Mt. Dew. The tiny waitress says in a thick high-pitched accent "I have pink lemonade." I still say that whenever anyone asks for Mt. Dew. 😂😂 I love it. It was unexpected and hilarious.

Maria Perez​ Hateful and negative comments are typically delivered by someone that is jealous of another. It's just psychology. Most that are happy with their situation have more of an ability to be happy for others. However, those that are unhappy will deliver negativity to those they see succeeding in an effort to make themselves feel better. Thus, the saying, "Misery Loves Company." Laura is following her dreams successfully and very seemingly happy. I love you foyer, it looks really good! Ahh the staircase... It is a pain the neck to re-do but I will make a huge difference. We've also painted our handrails and posts (they were all varnished oak, all of our 4 staircases) and it took us a few weeks. Next we'll be removing the carpet but that will be a project for another year.

It takes five generations of monarch butterflies to complete the journey north and back every year. Actually the 4 first generations only live for a few weeks, it's the fifth generation that lives longer (not sure about the six months, I think is less than that) and during that time they overwinter in Mexico mostly, but also Southern California and other areas... Quite misterious how they manage to do it... And pretty amazing!

Laura have you ever tried making iced tea with what my grandmother calls the sun tea method? Instead of putting the tea bags into boiling water you fill a glass pitcher with cold water and tea bags and you put the pitcher out in the sun to brew
