A few things to point out with the ending. First, there were four Crag disqualifications in the first production season. The first was in episode 1-09, where Alyson missed two actuators and did not go back for them, but she finished in third place regardless. The second was in episode 1-26, where Stacey finished in second but missed an actuator and did not go back. The third happened in episode 1-31, where Chris missed an actuator but finished in third regardless, and the final one was in episode 1-42, where Lexi missed an actuator and did not go back, but she finished in third regardless. Now, Season Two is when they instituted the Boulder Canyon rule, where the contestant had to step on all of the boulders before hitting the first actuator. This is the first instance of a player being disqualified for missing a boulder and it won't be the last.

I don't get the purpose of the blind. It doesn't affect the outcome at all, it just removes one person from the show. You should make it so that if the blind person correctly guesses which place they got, they get a point.

Several episodes ago, they ran the crag twice (we got that behind the scenes info from one of the contestants) because one kid did something that would DQ him (I think he went off the crag and used the some framework to help himself get up). I think the players and parents agreed to re run it. I am guessing this time the other players and parents said no.

Power up and power down ideas. Your can pick an event to knock X amont of time off your contestant's time. You can pick an event to add X amount of time to your opponents contestant's time You can add X amount of points scored for Football/Basketball/ect games for your contestant in an event You can take X amount of scores away from your opponent's contestant in Football/basketball/ect events These could change the outcome of who actually scores in first, second, or third, in an event or even the whole episode, and can also be used as trade material

I always thought that too, that "time" would be a great powerup. Everyone could get one "three second bonus" each season, where before a race they can use it, and it will shave 3 seconds off their final time, maybe change the outcome. But there's one problem. If that time bonus results in a player "finishing" in a different position, then the points on the GUTS scoreboard will be "wrong" for the rest of the episode and they will have to constantly have to do the "real math" over and over, figuring out what the real score is. Given we know how much they dislike math, I don't know if they would go for this. But yes, a time bonus for yourself or a time attack on someone else would be sweet additions.

The audio issues are kinda baffling since the audio is fine on the Paramount+ transfer of the episode. I'm kinda curious what the sources are for the episodes. I also noticed the runtime on your copy is 29:57 during the draft. That is a good six minutes longer than actual runtime. Random fun fact. This is the final appearance of the Wave Runner event. It appears that the producers decided they didn't need both this and the White Water event, so they consolidated the two events together for the rest of the series.

In order for a blind to be of any use or make things interesting, they need to be exclusively used when the players are running out, like they can see the name, but cant see the intros and run ins, they can se the players once they are lined up
