0:46 The doping doctors interaction with Froome wasn't idiotic in any sence: it was a safe dispersion of doping fumes whilst only Froome was around, and it indeed helped him to win! Check the race results, if you don't trust me. Other episodes you had show did cause disturbance, but that one - not, Froome was even allowed to participate in #TourDopeFroome later in the Summer. Thanks (Giving) for the video anyway!

What was the valid point? If you’re referring to Froome’s use of salbutamol he was allowed to take as much was found In his system and the other 20 drug tests came out completely clean.

I remember in the early '90s a fan on Alpe d'Huez thought he'd do his hero Gianni Bugno a favour and splashed cold water on him to cool him down. Caused a severe cramp, Gianni fell off and was unable to get back on his bike for several minutes.

It is already ruined be these idiots. There are so many of them. It's not just Tour de France. Even Triathlon, the bicycle section where ''fans'' just randomly cross the road when an athlete comes in with the bike and inevitably crashed into the person. It just baffles me that so many human beings are so uncivilized, rude and disrespectful. They don't give a single fuck about anything. Is it really so hard to just stay out of the goddamn way for the bicyclists who have trained with their soul and heart to be able to compete in an event which has basically become an absolute zoo-like sport. What a shame for it to be degraded like that.

Everyone in the "sport" uses crap. At what point will the cycling community just accept that reality? Not a single one of the top riders are clean, not a single one. The exact same thing in body building. I find it pathetic that people try to pretend otherwise. Exact same thing with 100m racers in track. I cycle because I enjoy it. I don't follow the big leagues because and refuse to do so until they just admit that it's a race between the most juiced up guys out there. Instead of this year in year out pretending it doesn't exist just admit it and be honest about it.

At the Tour of Switzerland this year, Richie Porte went up to the booth for the final time trial stage. A lady holding an umbrella (on a nice warm spring day) suddenly ran in front of him and nearly knocked him off the bike. I recorded the whole thing, seeing as I was standing right there. I was at the Hammer Series in Hong Kong last month, where I mentioned the incident to Richie. He could clearly remember, and he jokingly suspected she was hired by a rivaling team.

The Froome one reminded me of a fan bashing Barry Bonds for his alleged drug use. He made a banner that said... ‘The Babe did it on hotdogs and beer. Hank did it with class. Barry did it with (the guy drew a outline of a syringe).’ Bloody classic way to bash someone. And as someone already said. “ Froome had it coming to him. And the fans didn’t cause him to crash.”

this video makes light of the situation . in fact it is incredibly dangerous for the riders to allow these idosts anywhere near the road .many riders have been taken out of the race due to injuries and they generally get off with a light fine IF caught . that stupid B that brought down the entire peloton of the TDF last year only got fined 1300 euros . it should have been 13000 euros .

There’s a clip from one of the grand tours from several years ago (I forget which one) on KZbin where as the rider had just finished the race fans swarm him and try snatching his water bottles from the bike as he is still on it Unstandably the rider gets freaked out at this and starts shouting at the fans
