This is definitely beautiful but the one thing I appreciated about the fifth generation design was its longevity. If they keep this design for three years or longer then I may splurge but I’d be upset if I purchased it just to see another complete redesign in 2023.

yes both brands kia or hyundai have come a very long way from early days to now , and are very much upto date with toyota nissan and subaru i like the media screen unlike other brands that mounted it to high almost causing a blind spot , body style great , tech safety great , interior looks as nice as cadillac , mercedes bmw etc, i hope the carpets and seat materials and door trim liners are soft touch instead of the hard plastics as seen in early versions cant wait to see it in the show rooms , last of all warning to other japan brands lift your game the koreans are getting very close to rolling you with both quality and yes the price for whats standard gear

Hyundai makes the most easy to drive and quality cars.. The steering manouverability and the car feels light all the time.. I have 5 year old hyundai i20 and it is still smoothe as it was on day 1, no engine sound and smoothe even after driving it for more than 100k kms.. I am sure hyundai elantra will also be a good one..

I have Elantra 2012, the car is perfect, it never broke down on me, not even once! the AC is perfect, the gas mileage is amazing and most importantly, it's beautiful looking. It's the perfect car.

I have your car, the latest version of it, a 2016. Agreed! It’s a beauty. I felt like they should have kept up the design of our car which is 5th generation in 2017, rather than drastically changing it. Sort of like the subtle changes to the Honda accord. Elantra should have continued to indicate the sinuous charm of the 5th generation. I love the 2021 Elantra but the 2021 sonata is the better than the 2021 Elantra if you ask me.

Mark I'm not positive about the engine but transmission is CVT and around 150hp (I think). There will be a hybrid version paired with a 6speed auto. I'm not sure tho for the N version

Sur la Hyundai Elantra essential 2021, il y a un problème de déconnexion avec Apple CarPlay. (Il fonctionne durant un temps et se déconnecte sans raison sur la route… ( c’est très embêtant quand j’utilise le GPS de google maps.) Mon concessionnaire m’a dit que c'était un bug entre IOS (le système d’apple) et les Elantra. Avez-vous des solutions ? Existe-t-il une mise à jour possible sur le système du tableau de bord de la voiture ???

I own an Elantra which has a deadly engine design fault. It developed "tick of death" at 53k where piston started "slapping" side of cylinder and only cure is a $6k change of engine. I found out that this "piston slap" issue is common in Elantras but Huyndai refuses to acknowledge fault (they do in Canada, but not in US where is a pending class-action lawsuit against Huyndai). It was a mistake to buy an Elantra. My other car is a 2004 Toyota Camry. 170k no trouble.

Noticed they don't talk the smoothness of the ride, durability of the car, etc. And to me, the more manual buttons rather than voice-computer controls - the better. I work in electronic and communication security - so I don't want a hackable car via Wi-Fi or blue tooth. But I got to admit - it is good looking!

That grip handle bar would create a problemfor the front passenger, in terms of elbow room, arm movement, as well as leg and knee room. Also, being too high, it will also give your passenger the feeling of being boxed in, IMO.
