I enjoy watching your videos and reading your emails. I learn a lot. Your way of talking is special and to the point. I don't find any difficulties in understanding what you say. You are a brilliant teacher. You're a real expert in ELT. Thank you very much for everything you share.

Thank you for the video. The possibilities are endless. (Unfortunately, you can only search for like 20 expressions a day though) I mostly use YouGlish to look up idiomatic expressions and then it allows me to see these expressions in context. It helps me to learn them for good. Thanks again, greetings from Switzerland, Daniel.

Fantastic tips and tricks as usual Joe! One question, exactly what search phrase should I use in Youglish to bring up these videos, please?

Good question! I probably should have said that! I used ‘been’ because I know it would throw up examples of the present perfect simple of ‘be’ and the continuous form to start with but I also used ‘’I’ve seen’ and a couple of others. You can see the words I inputted because they’re highlighted- the word ‘I’ve’ would also give a lot of present perfect examples. You could also try particular phrases like ‘been doing’ or try it with pairs of phrases, eg ‘she was walking’ and ‘she walked’ … to contrast different forms. Hope that helps 😀

Good evening! You are doing a fantastic job. I am learning both as a teacher and a student! My question is, are there other websites exactly this one where I can download the videos in them?
