Coach thanks so much. I've learned a ton from you as a old timer who got back in through coaching. I'm glad to see the understanding of pitching has made it safer for arms. Growing up the curve ball was always so taboo that I had coaches who'd pull us if we threw more than 1 per inning at 15 years old. I grew up throwing fork balls and changeups to get movement because of his philosophy. Now to my question. Coaching got me wanting to play and I found a team in a 35+ league. I'm an old (45, yea I know not old), but my arm acts like it is. I have some bands and weighted balls. What can I do so throwing to second doesn't feel like throwing the ball a mile. Thanks and I appreciate all you do.

Hey coach. I have a question about pitching. I’m 13 years old and a RHP. When I put my foot on the rubber it is not perfectly straight with the rubber, it’s at a 25 maybe 30 degree angle. This results in my stride foot aiming far to the right of home plate. I pitch perfectly fine with this as I am extremely accurate. When I pitch with my foot straight I’m slower and much less accurate. So I’m wondering if my foot placement is okay to be like that or if it needs to be changed. Thanks
