Yes Roskoe Ricki is definitely one of a kind. She has had such a hard time here in Aus first with bad management and made to do 'Diva' songs...but this is who she really is...an undeniable star. She is the hostess of Australian Idol...but this year she performed a knock em dead song she wrote. "On My Own" it was amazing. love that you love her lol

It’s never too late to catch the Ricki Lee Coulter train Roskoe (pardon the pun). She was born in New Zealand but grew up in Queensland. She was a contestant on the Australian second season of Australian Idol, and with her vocals it is hard to believe, but she placed 7th…. What were they thinking? She initially sang pop songs, so this is a tad different from her earlier work, but it’s the song I love the most. Glad you enjoyed it 🎉🎉🎉

@youmaderoskoe I know right ✅️ The 2004 winner was a very young girl called Casey Donovan. She has a gorgeous voice. Runner up was Anthony Callea, and he can sing. As for the others, I can recall anything specific that they have done, but it was 20 years ago. Rickie Lee was signed to a record label in 2005 and was part of a group called Young Divas until 2007 before going solo. As well as singing, she has been a host on Australian Idol, a mentor on Australian Voice and host for Australia's Got Talent, and then back to hosting Australian Idol. She understands the pressure and disappointment of the competitors. She still gets emotional when the judges ask her opinions. There has been a lot of talent go through these shows over the years, and a lot who have not won have gone on to be very successful. These include Matt Corby and Jessica Mauboy, who were runner-up.
