Let me tell you, as a teenager in the 2010s, Young Justice was where it was at and the first season has aged remarkably well. And I'm not ashamed to admit that thirteen year-old me had a pretty big crush on Robin.

One cool thing about this show is that it has one of the most meticulously planned timelines of any cartoon, every scene in a new location more or less has a timestamp. It's not something you pick up on in the first watch but the more you do watch it you realize how much planning had to go into the show

In my opinion, Young Justice is the better version of Titans in many different ways 1. It has a more level-headed and morally strong version of Dick Grayson's Robin, one that isn't overly obsessed with a villain 2. M'Gann is the better version of the "fish out of water" alien character that Starfire was. Sure, there are things about Earth that still confuse her a little...but M'Gann isn't stupid for stupid's sake 3. The comedy feels more genuine and doesn't happen at the painful expense of certain characters 4. The drama feels stronger 5. The villains are a lot more dangerous 6. Beast Boy is more likable in this version and actually has a sense of intelligence in his character 7. Cyborg's backstory in YJ feels a bit more interesting than in Titans...even though we haven't seen much of it in the Titans series 8. To reiterate an earlier point; not only is YJ's Robin more morally and emotionally stable, he outright admits in Season One how he never wants to be like Batman. Meanwhile, the Titans version feels like a total clone of Bats, right down to him shutting out the people who love him. 9. The animation is a hundred times more impressive in YJ 10. Finally, Greg Cipes gives a performance of BB's character that's both charming and yet (when the occasion calls for it) serious; something the Titans series didn't give us until the Doom Patrol came along

As someone who’s fallowed comics since I was a kid, and even with the stuff I knew about the character and the story arcs they were setting up that were based on the comics, the show was able surprise me in ways I was not expecting and welcomed. And great that this series is officially part in the DC Multiverse (now the Omniverse) as Earth 16. Definitely recommend give the show a watched ESPECIALLY the later seasons. Yes, there are obvious signs of budget saving in the animation in later seasons with how they present the flashbacks, but honestly I think the story and acting saves it. Plus, when the animation is in action it still doesn’t miss a beat.

Spider-Man has had an amazing streak when it comes to mainstream media 2016: civil war 2017: homecoming 2018: infinity war,ps4 game,venom and into the spiderverse 2019: endgame and far from home 2020: miles morales game 2021: venom let there be carnage and Spider-Man no way home 2022: across the spiderverse part 1 2023: marvels Spider-Man 2 Wether you like these forms of media or not it’s nice to see Spider-Man bounce back after he was struggling to for popularity with the Amazing movies and his deal with mephisto in one more day I’m so happy to be a Spider-Man fan I know this has nothing to do with young Justice but animat was talking about how big superhero media has become recently and I wanted to express how pleased I was with Spider-Man’s streak of success in mainstream media

I love young justice. I like to imagine Kaldur (on lead guitar), Dick (Lead vocals), Garfield (drums) and Conor (Bass guitar and keys) as a band called Steel Dirigible that would sing Led Zeppelin's songs. The career would be through season 2 and 3 several performances at festivals, a few tours then (Spoiler Alert) break up after Conor's death with three or four reunions then Kaldur and Dick quit music altogether. Garfield AKA Beast Boy would be the only one who would still play drums at tribute concerts with fans still hoping for just one more reunion.

RIP Legion of Super-Heroes, the _real_ Teen Titans 2.0 I mean really, Saturn Girl in this show's fourth season even has the same voice actress, Kari Wahlgren instead of Tara Strong who voiced her more recently in JLA vs Fatal Five and LEGO DC Justice League: Cosmic Clash. None of the other Legionaries in this show so far have this distinction though...

18:14 Tnink it's worth mentioning that there's at least three main universe Superboys: Clark Kent at a young age, his clone Connor Kent and his son, Jonathan Kent (in Superman and Louis it might wind up being his S&L exclusive brother, Jordan Kent as Jonathan doesn't seem to have powers but Jordan does). The Legion of Super Heroes show in its second and third and sadly final season also replaced a time-displaced Clark as Superboy with another clone, Kell-El aka "Superman" X and Later Supreme Superman (he's sadly never made a member of the Kent family, though he was created by a gesalt entity named K3NT) who is really more of a Superboy himself when he's first introduced.

Young Justice, honestly, is such a huge disappointment because the first two seasons were so good but then seasons 3 and 4 became so different and disconnected, especially in tone, that it was like another show altogether. Add that to how they made everything so brutal and bloody, it became nothing more than DC trying too hard to not be Marvel. I get it. The fans grew up but was making everything so bloody and disgusting necessary?

I like the different tone. I still Love S1 and S2. But I also like the more serious tone in S3 and S4. Is different. But ngl, S1 is the one I have actully rewatched more than once. That one was the perfect balanace between, tone, character and story. I mean, I love the whole show, but the negatives for me are: S2: the 5 years span, Too many characters not properley explore S3: Interesting idea, Messy storytelling S4: Antalogic short Arcs I know S4 isn't over yet, but even though the Arc style makes the story telling more linear and is better to explore the characters, I feel they could have connect each arc a little better... idk S4 SPOILER: Then my personal nitpick is how they didn't show practically nothing about Kaldur's and Dick's perspective on what happened with Conner, I was specting to see it after Megan's, but we got Artemis' perspective, so then I thought "oh, so maybe they show their perspective after her" but they didn't... Idk, I felt it was important enough to show it sooner, like Robin, Kid Flash, Aqualad AND Conner were the one who started the YJ, so I was interested on seeing their perspective, specially when they have lost Wally too. But whatever, for what I've seen next Arc is about Kladur, so let's see what they do. (If you read all this... Sorry more the long text xd)

I love this show. Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti are geniuses. It's no small feat that it actually survived the mass cancelling of action cartoons in the early 2010s. I've been enjoying seasons 3 and 4 too, and I hope DC and WB allow its universe to grow with another season or a spin-off show, movie, or comic.

I haven't seen the movie myself yet because my father didn't get it as a Christmas present for me but at least I got DVD of Lupin III: The Castle of Cagliostro and 90s The Adventures of Tintin DVD box as Christmas presents. Teen Titans is childhood, but since I wtached YJ, I LOVED it even more than TT YJ is one of my favourite animated shows even now a days, Is so well done that you can enjoy it as a kid and as an adult (but that talking mainly about S1 and S2). S3 and S4 are like a complete different shows XD I still Love it, but is more serious and sometimes graphic. Specially now in S4, Some topics are really deep... But anywho, I've just been waiting on Kaldur's and Dick's perspective about _something that happened_ since it happened... Based on a cover I saw, next arc looks like is gonna be about Kaldur, so let's see what they do~

I really need to catch up on seasons 3 and 4, but from what I've seen so far, this is a really good show. I'll admit though that I like the first season a bit more than the second for its tighter character focus. Although, I still admire a lot of the new characters they brought to the team in season 2, along with its story arc. Heck, I was ecstatic when Beast Boy joined the gang and when Static appeared later on, since I loved those guys after seeing them in "Teen Titans" and "Static Shock" respectively.

One of the things I didn't like about the 2003 teen titans series is that it tried to divorce itself from being a dc show, I get that they were trying to focus on the main characters and give them a lot of development, but the rest of the universe in TT feels empty. , the first season of young justice was able to develop its main characters and embrace the fact that it was a dc show by creating a world that felt lived in

Personally, I look for more than action in my superhero content. As an adult. The show tells me Speedy is fed up with just being a sidekick but never shows his relationship with Green Arrow and what led to this bratty outburst. The Superboy in one episode believes he is too good for training and preparation, but never builds up to this. He's just suddenly an arrogant jerk for the sake of the episode. My point is that the show never actually delves into the personal lives and psychology of its characters enough for me to like or care for the characters.

The way the show is done is cool and underrated I think. Teen titans and the older batman and justice league show always gets talked about.
