I gave someone $100 once, out of the blue, because he was sitting in a doorway and I went and asked if he was okay, and he looked hungry. Watching him then sprint to the nearby grocery store was an amazing thing :) Even small amounts can make a huge difference to someone.

What a lovely woman… just gushing with gratitude. A worthy recipient. I hope her medical issues aren’t chronic, so she can get back into great health and their family can have a comfortable home to live in. Some of these stories the recipients don’t seem thankful enough. I never make a negative comment as I’m sure they might possibly just be in shock. So it’s fine.
